Don’t work with Slurm. My first tattoo at this shop with another artist was great, so I decided to come back for my second. This time, I scheduled with Slurm. I drove an hour for a 6:00 PM appointment, arriving at 5:45 PM. Slurm didn’t come out to greet me until 6:15 PM. He then went to work on the design and didn’t return until 6:45 PM. The design looked nothing like the reference photos I had sent, so I had to ask him to revise it—twice. I had made it clear I wanted the design to match the references exactly. He finally brought me to his booth at 7:00 PM. After placing the stencil on my arm, he looked at the clock and said he had “another appointment at 8:00 PM,” so he wouldn’t be able to do my tattoo. I asked how long it would take, and he said “probably 2.5 hours.” Slurm knew what design I wanted, knew how long it would take, and still scheduled me for 6:00 PM—leaving no possible way to finish before 8:00 PM, even if he had started on time (which he didn’t). I ended up driving an hour back home with no tattoo, four hours of my time wasted, and a stencil stain that didn’t come off for three days. I even tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled like he asked, but he has since stopped responding to my messages.
Danny did a fabulous job on my custom neck tattoo. I would absolutely refer him to others. Was personable and mindful to the look I was after - nailed it!
Shep is one of the best artist in Toledo. Very easy to work with and always so creative when I need a little help with my crazy ideas! The amount of compliments I get from his work is insane.
The best tattoo shop in Toledo. Every artist there I’ve interacted with have been pleasant and very welcoming. Over the past year I’ve had all my sessions done with an artist named Slurm. The outcomes have always been over the top amazing work and also an amazing experience. I’m honored to have numerous pieces from his tattoo flash inked on me. The guy is truly a master of his craft. I’ve definitely found my tattoo doctor. 🤘🏻
