I’ve had the pleasure of working with Phil two times. The first was back in Chicago when he trained me Thor two years. He whipped me into shape in no time but not without a lot of balks on my end and words of encouragement on his. When I needed a trainer over the last few months, I reached out to him wanting to be back with the only person I knew who could work their magic. And has he ever! Walking into Breakthrough Personal Training has been the best experience for my personal (physical) growth. I never really looked forward to working out until I joined this training program. Working out w/ Phil has been over the top enjoyable--he pushes me in the best way to meet my potential. I am 53 and the strongest I've ever been and I've only worked out with him for 3 months twice a week. The strength and mobility I have gained is mind blowing to me. Phil is an experienced, extremely qualified, hard working personal trainer. He has the ability to stay positive and push you to work hard at the same time. Diet and nutrition are also taken seriously with is super helpful and great for accountability as well. I’ve been working out with Phil at Breakthrough 4-5 times per week for about 8 months and am still seeing great progress. At 40 I’m feeling just as strong and limber as I did after basic training in my 20’s. I started back into working out to help with recovery from a very serious accident. I’ve noticed I don’t feel the pains I used to and I’m much more mobile and flexible. Very high quality experience all the way around!!
