My wife and I attended three group evening sessions with the Bristol Local WIne School, tasting, enjoying and chatting about the wines of Europe. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and found Ruth to be very knowledgeable and good fun. In fact, a month or so after the last session, a number from our group are actually meeting up in Bristol this week for a socialable evening of wine and chat.
Ruth came and did a wine tasting for my birthday at my house; it was brilliant! She was knowledgeable and kept it really interesting all the way through and I learnt loads of interesting things. Plus the wine she brought along was delicious resulting in a really fun evening we will be back to do this again.
Brilliant experience with Ruth from the Clifton Wine School last weekend. I bought the steak and wine evening as a gift for my husband and it exceeded both our expectations! Ruth was so enthusiastic and welcoming, made us relaxed immediately. The food was very nice but the wines she chose and the guidance about tasting made the event really special. 10/10 would recommend!
I have just started an 8 week World of Wine course with Clifton Wine School and I thoroughly enjoyed our first evening. Ruth's delivery is relaxed and informal and she has great knowledge. She opened our eyes and taste buds to lots of different wines and gave us plenty of really interesting background information about each one. Very much looking forward to the rest of the course!
I could not recommend Ruth enough, she carried out a wine tasting event for a small occasion recently, she was full of knowledge and Ruth also made our experience a lot of fun. The communication was also brilliant when I was booking the event. I would not hesitate to recommend Clifton Wine School to anybody. Thank you Ruth
