Rob and Albert were Ana I g for my stop in today. They had a specialty pizza that was hands down one of the best slices I’ve ever had…and I’ve had a ton of pizza. Worth the drive from anywhere in the valley. Come see these guys and get a pie…or 2.
Walked in and we were greeted by our server Claire. She sat us at a comfortable booth and told us her favorite foods on the menu. We started off with a Caesar salad then we had a eggplant stromboli finished with a chocolate moose cake. Such a great night with great service we will be returning thank you.
First time eating here today and it’s 10/10. We have been seeing it for a while and knew we wanted to try it out since it’s family owned and operated- can’t really find places like that around here these days! We came in for a slice but decided on an extra large pizza with two toppings because the pricing was fair and that would mean left overs. Came out piping hot and DELICIOUS. Crispy crust that does remind us of the pizzas and slices we got when we visited NY last year. The ranch is amazing and it’s the perfect consistency in my opinion, makes me want to try the wings solely so I can dip them in it. Katie was a great server, so fast, energetic and helpful with everything we asked. We will be back!
Oh my goodness!! This place is a hidden gem. We have always driven by but never stopped in. The truth is, we never stopped in bc of their store sign. The sign has a slice of pizza along the side of their name, Buonos. This led us to believe they only specialized selling pizza by the slice(we don't care for those types of service counter only restaurants). Well, Mom and I were looking for a restaurant to eat at when we were on the corner of Higley and Baseline. We decided upon Buono's bc we thought it would be fast (pizza by the slice). We were pleasantly surprised when we walked through the door. Buono's is actually a sit down restaurant with table service. A kind gentleman by the name Rob greeted us and told us to sit anywhere. He was also our server. He was prompt coming to our table. He was very informative about the menu and took our drink order. Mom and I ordered to share the appetizer Arancini. Mom and I both agreed it was delicious! Then came our calzone with pepperoni, sausage, and mushroom. Wow!! We ordered the small to share. It was HUGE! And OMG...it was the best calzone we have ever had!! It was prepared perfectly. The dough had risen perfectly to form a thin crispy crust. And the marinara sauce on the side couldn't have tasted better. The food and the service Rob provided made this a picture perfect 5 star dining experience. Our hats are off to Rob and the chef!!
I stumbled upon this pizza place unexpectedly. I decided to order some Honey Hot Wings and a simple Cheese Pizza to start. Honestly, both choices were an absolute delight, and I savored every bite. The service was top-notch, especially because the server, Rob, was super friendly and attentive. The overall atmosphere inside the place was also cozy and inviting, making us feel right at home. It was a perfect casual dining experience, making me wish I could go back right now.
