Me and my partner normally love going here. Their purple dragon is our go to. However, today we where very disappointed in our drinks. We ordered two iced purple dragons with no ice since it's 64 so it's not hot and it's not cold. When we got our drinks, they where barley half full. I wanted to say somthing, but unfortunately we are in a rush today. It makes me even sadder because I now regret giving the tip large tip I gave. The picture is right after we got our drinks. I also am disappointed because when we order it hot and for here, the cup is huge. If we would have poured how much we had gotten from our iced cups into the mug for hot purple dragons it also wouldn't even be half full. I used to be a barista, and I acknowledge that the measurements for the drink would be different without ice, but because we also got TWO half full drinks, if they doubled the recipe we would have been satisfied with how full our drinks where when we got it. Overall I'm just VERY disappointed and felt it was very unprofessional to be handed two half full drinks. I can also provide proof of when we where handed our drinks and when I took the photo
Such a cool place in Columbus Park! I had a dirty mailman and it was so smooth and delicious paired with my blueberry muffin. Will be returning to try the banana Nutella muffin.
As a non KC native I try to take myself out at least once a week to different cafés and experiences around town. I keep coming back here! The vibe is so immaculate. It feels like such a welcoming space and everything on the menu is definitely worth ordering. The art/merch available for sale is beyond cool! There is truly something for everyone here. I love this place, and if I ever leave KC I will miss it here the most.
This is my goto coffee shop. I’ve tried many of the regular coffee and matcha drink, specialty and seasonal. The Vietnamese espresso makes this shop stand out. It’s a very strong bean. The decor and ambiance are laid back and vibrant. All of the baristas who you’ll come to know from their profiles displayed are very personable and generous. The owner Jackie is a very kind person, charismatic personality. Out of the matcha drinks, Fresh off the Boat is my fave. The strawberry and banana mix is very complimentary and you ask for less or more of one flavor too. I love matcha! Electric and Hella Good both have unique ingredients that make for delicious espresso drinks, ube syrup in Hella Good and cardamom with vanilla syrup and condensed milk in Electric
