I popped in for breakfast and ordered a bacon & egg bun & a dirty chai. It came out super fast! Coffee was hot and delicious as was the bun! It's probably the best dirty chai I've had in a long time and staff were all really friendly. Will definitely be back again!
The place is quiet and located in a corner, with plenty of seating available. It might get crowded on weekends. The staff are very friendly and serve customers with a smile. I ordered the truffle egg and an iced dark chocolate. The truffle egg portion was really big, felt very full afterward. I loved the iced dark chocolate because not many places offer a dark chocolate option. It also comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, which makes it perfect for a hot day.
A few years ago this was a 5 star but it's looking old. Seats are dirty or falling apart and patched up. Floor looks dirty sometimes. Now a surcharge of $5 to eat on a weekend which is a bit much. Like that it's tucked away and easy access. Coffee is nice and food selection great...just needs a bit of TLC lately.
Really friendly staff, great service. Nice atmosphere and it's in a cosy, tucked away spot. Great pay milk chai latte (half sweetness, extra hot) and made exactly as I requested.
Lovely quiet, spacious and clean cafe in the Canberra Centre (top level). Tables are numbered and order at the counter. Coffee variable but mostly good! Good selection of cafe style food with daily chef specials. Healthy options are available such as some interesting salads with the choice of added protein such as salmon or chicken. Plenty of sweet treats. My ham, cheese and tomato toastie was tasty but the ham and tomato were cold so next time I’ll ask if they can warm everything first. Mainly I love the fact it is tucked away from the hustle and bustle. June 2022: Have been back several times and the cafe is getting busier but overall still good service and I do like the salads on offer.
