I have used 4 PT firms over the last 30 years, CA Rehab is the best. Their all active time philosophy has been more effective than the other firms that use a lot of filler time with TENS and ice/heating. Also they were the first to send me video guides for home exercises and the first to show me how to use gym equipment to continue self development. Being inside the City Sport Gym is a real strategic advantage. Their staff is very good, but they do need more staff as appointments are harder to get. When I first came for treatment, I was in so much pain I sometimes has to use a cane. I have been an avid runner for over 10 years running from 10k to 100k races, and everything in between. I had not been able to run for over 6 months due to severe knee pain brought on from IT Band issues and a sprained ankle. Dr. Alexander and team did a thorough evaluation and drafted a detailed plan to get me back to running. I felt improvement 3 weeks in to PT, and nearly pain free. After 6 weeks, I slowly added 5-10 minutes run/walk. It’s been 10 weeks and I have been able to run 3 miles, relatively pain free. With the treatment at California Rehab & Sports Therapy with Dr. Alexander and team, I am confident I’ll be back to my regular running routine in no time.
