Stopped in one weekday morning for a hot beverage and some bakery. It's part of a larger building with large windows on the front. There are a couple of basic small café tables out front. Inside is a large space that is brightly lit through the plate glass windows. There are tables set up throughout, mainly for couples, but they could be combined for larger groups. There are also stools at the counter for seating. There wasn’t anyone else in the place when I arrived, so it was very quiet. Got greeted by the friendly cashier/barista. I wanted to get a London Fog Tea Latte, but they were out of Earl Grey, so I ordered a Chai Latte instead. They didn’t have a scone, but the cinnamon roll with icing looked pretty good too. Offered to warm it up, and I said definitely yes. It took a few minutes for the drink to be ready, which means they let the tea steep properly. When it got delivered to my table, I was pleasantly surprised by the latte art in the foam. I have never had a barista give me that special treatment and was thankful. The cinnamon roll was warm, gooey, and delicious. Definitely a place that I would return to.

What a great little spot. I was in town for a Harley convention and decided to go get a cup of strong coffee. I got an Americano with an extra pool and found a delicious cinnamon knot covered in frosting. What it lacked in nutrients it made up for in flavor. Absolutely delicious! It’s a beautiful little location. Very calm, interior good music plan and spots to sit outside on the sidewalk and watch folks go by. The barista was extremely friendly and helpful, and I would absolutely go back again in a heartbeat! Great job!

Canary has always come up as one of the nearby coffee shops, so on the 19th of Sept. I decided to stop by to grab a coffee and sit for a bit. From the moment I walked in, I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable. The barista had a look on his face that seemed like he didn’t want to serve me and was wondering “why are you here?”. He served my coffee in an old, white cup and saucer that was visibly cracked in several places, while I watched him serve other customers — both before and after me — in clean, matching blue cups. No one else had a white mug. It wasn’t just about the cup. I noticed him interacting with others more warmly and attentively, while my order was rushed through with minimal interaction. I wasn’t given a receipt either. I’m not someone who makes assumptions, but I couldn’t ignore the clear difference in how I was treated and how I felt as a result. I genuinely felt discriminated against, possibly because of my race. The atmosphere was so uncomfortable that after just a few minutes of sitting there, I decided to leave. The ambience was extremely uncomfortable. I ended up going to a different coffee shop where I could actually feel at ease. To top it all off, the coffee itself was terrible — and I say that entirely separate from how I was treated. It simply did not taste good. Honestly, I’m not sure why this place markets itself as open to everyone when the environment doesn’t feel welcoming to all. This was a deeply disappointing experience. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The avocado toast on sourdough changed my brain chemistry. My husband got the trout on sourdough and loved it. The coffee was also great. Prices are also fair for the area.

This place gets an A+ for creativity on their seasonal drink menu. I came one afternoon while visiting the area and went with the hot honey latte. It was excellent -- good noticeable amount of spice and not overwhelmingly sweet. They clearly make their drinks with care; it's an art to them, and it shows. We sat for at least an hour. It's a good space to soak up with natural light, outlets, and a good amount of seating inside. The pastries and toasts looked pretty good, too. I'd go out of my way to come back next time I'm in the area.
