We held a very large corporate Christmas party with Captain Newport on their Long Beach boat (80 capacity) and they were extremely easy and kind to work with. Not a single thing went wrong. The booking process was easy, payment was easy, we booked open bar and they let us bring our own food (even though they do offer private chefs if you don’t want to worry about bringing your own). we also wanted to bring a murder mystery company on board for our party and they let us do that as well. Everything was perfect the crew was amazing and so kind and accommodating, boat was beautiful, they even put a Christmas tree up for us. AV was provided as well as music and lighting. Bar had great options. We had a wonderful time. 100/100 recommend. Thank you Captain Newport from the Aon team!
We had the most incredible day out on the water! The yacht was spotless, comfortable, and even better than expected — everything from the sound system to the layout made it perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. Huge shout-out to Captain Maureen, who truly made the experience unforgettable. She was professional, fun, and so knowledgeable about the area — she knew all the best spots to cruise and made everyone feel right at home. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and it shows in how smoothly the whole day went. Would definitely book with them again!
The Captain is the only way to go when chartering a yacht in Newport! Boats are awesome and so is the crew. Captain Maureen was professional AND entertaining. Food was amazing. Repeat customer that will be returning. It beats owning a boat, trust me! Treat yourself to the best, it’s worth it.
I celebrated my 40th birthday yesterday on a boat in Newport, and it was honestly the best day ever. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. Our captain, Chuck, was fantastic. He was not only professional but also incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed and letting us do exactly what we wanted throughout the day. The boat itself was beautiful, spotless, and very well kept—clearly cared for with pride. Since it was my birthday, they surprised me with a cake that was both delicious and such a thoughtful touch. It made the whole experience feel even more personal and special. Leading up to the day, I had been working with Rueben, who coordinates the rentals. Even though we never met in person, he was a joy to communicate with—always checking in and making sure everything was set up just right. His kindness and responsiveness made planning effortless. The highlight of the day for me was when they set up the swim platform and we got to relax in the water on the Baja shelf. Sitting there, floating in the sunshine, was pure heaven. If you’re looking for an unforgettable experience on the water, I can’t recommend this enough. Five stars all the way.
We were on the 42 ft. Yacht for a 3 hour cruise and Captain Ray was amazing! He was our DJ and picked awesome tunes for us to sing and dance around to. He showed us all the cool spots and gave us the 411 on everything during the cruise. He joined in our fun and danced a little when he thought we weren't looking, and helped us have the funnest evening possible. He was safe, fun, and took pictures when we needed group shots. The boat was amazing. We were truly spoiled. The inside seating area was very comfortable and perfect for our drinks and snacks. We had plenty of room to stand and dance around. The outer seating lounge area was very nice to chill and relax. I highly recommend this company and Captain Ray for cruising Newport!
