What an amazing shop! The emphasis on locally produced items was wonderful to see as a local. I loved the atmosphere inside, the music was relaxing as calm, and the layout was an enjoyable journey through a wonderful selection of items. The owner is absolutely lovely! Very kind and welcoming, hopefully you get to meet Indy too 🐶
I've watched Sara grow her inventory over the past couple years and she has an amazing eye for unique and beautiful things. I love her focus on North Carolina artists and food products. I'm not going to be mad at her for selling my FAVORITE flavor or Poppy's Popcorn, Cinnamon Bourbon Carmel corn! Check out her store, you won't be disappointed.
I just discovered this amazing place. A combination of new, mostly local (with good choices) and vintage finds. Great for gifts and not your typical Made in China schlocky "gift" store. Very reasonably priced. Neat and organized. Shop small. Should be in downtown Durham, hope more people find it. Go! You will be glad you did.
Casa Bella market is one of the best gift stores in Durham! I love shopping there for unique local gifts and they have a great selection of vintage items. Bonus points for the cutest shop doggie Indy who always greets you at the door!
Why did it take me so long to write this review? Believe what the 5-star commenters are saying about this store. It's been my go-to for gifts for just about anyone I know. Next time you need a unique, locally-flavored, beautifully crafted, clever gift for a special person or organization, pay Sara a visit. She's amazing and supporting LOCAL artists/vendors is so important. Plus, there's a banger of a bakery right next door, Bull City Bake Shop. Win win :)
