Visited in July 2025. We got there at the tail end of service so didn’t have much of a wait, and the staff were really nice about getting us in. Our waiter was super friendly and chatty with good recommendations. The pasta was delicious - we got the pesto and the penne fumé (both the smaller portion which was quite filling) and some ice cream to top it off. Overall it really was the perfect meal, great food great service, great vibe (like an old school Italian restaurant), and great conversation. Would definitely return.
Great restaurant with awesome service for large groups. Seems to be a popular place to go to. We were served by Morgan who was perfect. The Calamari was absolutely delicious highly recommended!!! Tortellini was more of a bake, lots of cheese !!!!
It seemed very popular and busy so we thought we’d try it out. The atmosphere inside was great. Bustling, warm and friendly. I may have been unlucky but the Carbonara was hugely disappointing. Bland, too salty, definitely had cream in it (why?!). So underwhelming. My wife said her lasagne was nice though. We also got two scoops and of ice cream each. They must be using shovels as scoops as they weee huge. Way too much for a child.
Consistency is a great thing in a restaurant. Casa Italia is consistently *excellent*. I go once a year when I visit from Canada. The 3 times have produced consistently tasty, exquisite, filling, chees-ey (real cheese that stretches a long way, as in *real* mozzarella....lasagne. Caprese salad top notch. Good serving size. Atmosphere straight out of a Billy Joel Italian song..Mama Leone (?).
A beautiful authentic Italian restaurant. Hands down some of the best food I've had, their lasagna is my personal favourite and their cheesy garlic bread is to die for. The place is run by a brilliant and friendly team. It's easily the best Italian in Liverpool.
