I just found a “Real Grass” Mini Golf Course in one of the most impressive parks in the Twin Cities. Not sure why there aren’t more of these around. No wood walls, no brick walls, no rock walls, no gimmicks, just real putting on real grass. …and 100ft+ long holes to play on. Fantastic!
best mini golf i’ve ever done! $11 per person and the course has 18 holes. can’t wait to come back and do the paddle boats!!! for a summer day it was busy but not overwhelmingly busy.

I want to live right next to this course. Enjoy…
Fun spot for a work team event or day date! Mini putt on real grass out in the open air in MN summer, what could be better?! Right by Southdale mall - so easy access to great restaurants and shops for food, drinks and shopping before and after!
Heads up…The Centennial Lakes Mini Golf is NOT a course for younger kids even though it is called “mini golf.” I would say 10 years old and older would be ideal. Pros: 1. Atmosphere is peaceful and lots of water features alongside the course. 2. The greens are very well kept and actual grass. Cons: 1. There are too many hazards for 5-8 year old kids and even adults. Almost ever hole we were trying to retrieve a ball. Even when the shot was a good one, it managed to roll into water, into rocks, or into boulders. 2. The holes are so long length wise that it encourages young golfers to raise their club and to wack really hard which isn’t what they should be doing which is putting. 3. We only played 12 holes of the 18. When we were leaving early, I told the young man that we were stopping because it just too hot and way too tough for young kids. I asked him if we could get our money back for our daughter who only played 2 holes. He said no. I said that it might be a good idea to put up a sign saying “not for young golfers.”He told me “it’s for all ages. I guess you guys shouldn’t have played.” Then he turned his back and walked away. It was a typical teenage response, and I told him that his boss might appreciate the feedback we gave. He shrugged his shoulders. I told him that we won’t be coming back and I asked for his name. I teach so I deal with teenagers all the time and am not phased…so I stayed cool. I felt that it was a waste of money for our family especially when there are better options close by. Ironically, when we were leaving, two older gentlemen were paying the teen. When the teenage boy turned his back, I saw the older gents each pocket 3 balls before they started playing and one said to the other “I hope that’s enough. I always lose so many here.”
