I came in to see Dr. Ramy Raphael because I was dealing with excruciating lower back pain for a week. I wasn’t able to stand, sleep or sit for too long. I thought I pulled a muscle but all symptoms pointed to a herniated disc that was caused by every day life (working long hours sitting, bending rather than squatting to pick up stuff from the floor, not strengthening my core or glutes). With Dr. Ramy, he was able to provide the proper care for me to feel 90% back to myself in less than 2 weeks by putting me first. Rather than cracking me, which he violently advised against, he worked on decompressing the inflammation and realigning my hips. Yes, the sessions were painful but every single time I came out of his office, I felt so much better the next day. I can’t thank Dr. Ramy enough for the passion, attention, compassion and care. With him and my team of health practitioners, I now have a plan to live a better life and I feel so grateful to have met him.
I had a scheduled consultation that was supposed to last 45 minutes. Instead, I waited 30 minutes past the start time, and the doctor never showed up. The receptionist notified the doctor twice that I was waiting, but nothing changed. No explanation, no update, no attempt to start the appointment. I understand delays happen in healthcare, but this wasn’t a delay, it was a complete lack of basic professionalism and respect for a patient’s time.
From the moment you walk through the door, you can already tell it’s going to be a great experience. The staff is very friendly and excellent at what they do. Dr. Ramy Raphaël was the first doctor who was truly able to help me overcome my injury as a professional athlete after seeing many others. Every time I come in for an appointment, his kindness and lighthearted approach make the visit so much more pleasant. Will definitely be back!
