On October 4th, I brought my collie-lab cross to Century Park Animal Hospital as an emergency. He was limping badly and unable to put weight on his leg. After a full examination, it was determined that he had a torn — or possibly torn — CCL. The first course of treatment was rest, but after a month it became clear that the leg had worsened, and TPLO surgery was recommended. Dr. Anthony Abo El Saad — Dr. Anthony, for short — was one of the most thorough veterinarians I’ve ever met. I didn’t have to second-guess the surgery. The way he explained everything, his patience, and his obvious care for animals made the decision easy. My gut told me he was the right person for my dog — and I was right. Surgery is now complete, and my dog Ben has been home for two days. He is already doing better than I expected. We are following every instruction like it’s gospel. It’s hard watching him go through recovery, but I know every day will get easier — and in the end he will be able to walk and play with his puppy friends again. I would without a doubt recommend Dr. Anthony for any of your pet’s needs. Not only did he treat Ben’s leg, but on the very first visit he also addressed his long-standing allergy issues. My dog had been breaking out in sores, licking his tail raw, and suffering from constant ear infections and dermatitis. Every other vet told us to “just change his food” — but that never solved the problem. Dr. Anthony prescribed an allergy medication, and we saw an almost instant improvement. It is not cheap — but it made a huge difference, and once his leg is fully healed, we will continue working on his allergies with confidence. Emergency visits can take time, and just like a human hospital, the most serious cases are prioritized — but the wait was absolutely worth it. Thank you, Dr. Anthony. You’ve given my dog a real chance at a healthy and happy life Update 9 weeks post Op and my Ben is doing amazing - healing is on schedule and he’s starting hydrotherapy 🙌
My cat ,Obama, was acting weird so I took him to my vet where they did an x-ray and found he had stones blocking his urethra so he was unable to pee.It being late on a Friday afternoon/evening my vet was unable to help, the vet called other well known animal hospitals who provided us with a ridiculous quote to help him. My vet called century park animal hospital and the max quote for the same service was half the price, and they were able to get him in right away. From the very beginning the staff was very polite, professional, helpful and kind during a very stressful time! Dr.Anthony Abo El Saad was very professional and took the time to explain all the options with all the possible outcomes of each while answering all of our questions to make sure we thoroughly knew everything we needed to make an informed decision. He did not sugarcoat anything and the cost of everything was very clearly laid out from the very beginning. He was very passionate and made my kitty feel like a priority. You could tell by the way he talked and wanted to monitor him that it wasn’t just another paycheck but that he actually cared about Obama’s wellbeing! I would recommend century park animal hospital to anyone and everyone! The staff is great! The prices were great! It’s clean! Without them my kitty would no longer be here so I am super thankful to the whole team!
Dr. Anthony has done a wonderful job taking care of our pup Maggie. She unfortunately needed TPLO surgery on both knees over the past 12 months and the team at Century Park Animal Hospital has helped make this challenging time easier and has always been available when we needed. The team’s love and compassion for the animals has really shown by Maggie’s comfortability, and it’s obvious that the animals care comes first.
Thank you all so much for saving my best boy Dorrito! I was such a mess the night that I took my little guy in, I had called prior to make sure I could come in and get my guy help right away and they were quick, diligent and compassionate. This vet understands emergencies can happen at any given time and that’s why I love that their doors are open for walk-in until 2am. And I’m sure if you called after that time they would still open their doors to you. I was so scared thinking I’d be going home alone or that he potentially could have another re-blockage. But after 2 weeks of cat pee all over me and late nights with medication administration… I am happy and blessed to say I HAVE MY CAT BACK! ❤️You guys have all really truly blessed my home with ALL the help you guys provided that night and with the follow up phone calls checking in. We are both very grateful for all of the hardworking technicians and doctors there that dedicate their time to helping those in need. Thank you all for the amazing support through that very scary time ❤️ Dorrito is back to his comical self and has been handing out high fives for treats from everyone! His little “big” sister can see he’s feeling better and wants to start playing but we will hold off on that for a while yet 😂
I can’t thank this veterinary clinic enough for what they did for my cat. When we rushed in during an emergency, the team acted immediately and with absolute professionalism. The vet performed life-saving surgery that quite literally gave my cat a second chance at life. Throughout the entire process, they kept me informed, reassured me when I was terrified, and treated my cat with genuine compassion. It was clear they truly cared—not just about the medical situation, but about us as a family. Thanks to their skill, quick action, and dedication, my cat is back home recovering and doing incredibly well. I’m beyond grateful and couldn’t recommend this vet more highly. They are truly exceptional.
