I spent nearly 5 years waiting for Doug Fitz-Simmons to get me a check only to get screwed out of everything because he made one of the most fundamental mistakes a licensed lawyer can make in a personal injury case. I wont go into all the details but I assure you this law firm dropped the ball then is walking away like they never made one. I dont care that they lost $100k plus in expenses and fees. If they would have been thorough in their job I'd be sitting in a lounge chair in a sunny destination boastong about their devotion and dedication to their clients.....but I'm not. I'm angrily making this post so some of you will choose to look elsewhere and not let their lose ends and poor quality control destroy any compensation you deserved. My case was a mid 7-figure case against CalTrans for leaving a 3ft tall x 7ft wide tree stump in a clear recovery zone where there should have been no obsticals whatsoever as stated in the Caltrans design manual......and they lost the case. Good Luck if you choose them to represent you and I really mean Good Luck! P.s. if your from outta town lookout. They've even created a video series on how you don't want to go with the out of town team. I should have seen it coming
