A new direction taken for our end of season dinner and we’re delighted to have crossed paths with Charl, Lucas and the rest of the team. Despite challenging weather conditions, the pair worked through an Amber Weather Warning battling to ensure a superb service was received. Beautiful beef, pork and chicken alongside secret sauces that Charl refuses to give the recipe for! Superb combo and all guests said the same. Pencil us in for the first Saturday in October 26 Charl.

Challas... Charl...What can I say our wedding at the weekend was fantastic and your food and service was a huge part of that. I've had so many people ask about you and your team. The care you took with the meats. The flavour of the salads. I've had so many people positively critique broccoli.... Something I never thought I'd write in print. To anyone reading this, genuinely they're worth every penny and I would highly recommend!

Charl prepared the food for our joint 40th birthday party and we were delighted with the service provided: the food was delicious, plentiful, the meat tender and the sauces fresh and appetising. He arrived in plenty of time to set up and was friendly and packaged up all our leftovers to be enjoyed afterwards. Highly recommend for a stress free catering solution and something a bit different.

We had a party in August 2025 and Challas came out to provide some catering. The portions are large and we ordered too much food but I'm glad because our guests all took some home which was a lovely gift for them and nothing was wasted. Everyone was delighted with the quality of the food. The chef who came out was so professional and friendly. We were really impressed by every aspect of the service- from clear email communications, clear guidance about cost, perfect timing on the night and, of course, the excellent food. Worth every penny.
