I visited this amazing place with my other half on Saturday evening (24th Jan 2026) and as soon as we walked in, we knew we were in for a real treat. The look on the faces of the other diners was absolute pleasure. We could see why, the food looked incredible. We order the best in the world spring rolls, chicken teriyaki and a selection of sushi and sashimi. There was very little conversation between us apart from expressing delight at what we were eating. I have to compliment the waiting staff and the chiefs for the most amazing meal we had. We could not fault one single thing and the price was great. Thank you all. We will be back and we will be sharing with all our friends who come to Edinburg.

Family run this is my favourite Japanese restaurant in Edinburgh and has been for the past 6 years. It has never disappointed. I love their salt and peper tofu, seaweed salad and all their sushis, they have a delicious selection of vegetarian sushis. I recommend the sweet tofu one and the one that has kiwi! All of their food is beautifully presented (try out their green tea ice cream!)

This 💎 is a must visit! The omakase sashimi is always prepared to perfection, and deliciously fresh. This time I also went with salt and pepper soft shell crab 🦀 for an appetizer. Sublime and not at all appetizer size 😍. Service and atmosphere reminds me of my time living in Asia, always kind and attentive yet relaxed vibes. I keep coming back and don’t plan to change this any time soon.

I had an incredible experience at this restaurant! The chicken noodles were absolutely delicious, best in my life. The staff who served us was incredibly kind and attentive, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend! Greetings from Argentina!

We visited on a Saturday afternoon after doing some shopping in the local area - we were very impressed with the range of delicious Japanese dishes on the menu, the fact that we could BYOB if we wanted to. We were promptly sat down and given menus - after ordering we were told that the sushi kitchen was going through a busy spell and that the food would be a while - though this was communicated to us clearly, at the time, we were still a little disappointed as the restaurant was busy when we arrived but in the time it took for us to get our food, the restaurant had emptied completely, so we were the only customers in there once we had our food - it took over 30 minutes to arrive as the kitchen was busy fulfilling delivery app orders. Admittedly I was slightly hangry by the time the food arrived. All that said - the sushi was exceptional, all freshly prepared with great care and nicely presented. It was very good value and delivered with friendly service. Visitors should note that it is cash only.
