Brought my mom for her 60th birthday. Best choice! The chef came out to chat before we ordered, steak was cooked perfectly, so much flavor! And the atmosphere is amazing. Will definitely be back!
The Tasty Palate
We had an amazing family dinner here just before the year ended. The food was delicious and arrived quickly. The plates were piping hot, and everything was served at the perfect temperature, ready to enjoy right away. The 14oz prime steak was outstanding—cooked exactly to my favourite medium-rare, tender, and literally melted in my mouth. Service was top-notch as well. Our waitress checked in on us often and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling intrusive.

I've been coming to chop since it opened, and last night we came for my father's 80th birthday. The staff were very accommodating, took very good care of us and were very friendly, even being sweet and giving my dad a birthday card that all the staff signed. The food was amazing, there wasn't a single dish that wasn't at at least good. There was only one dish that I wouldn't order again and that's simply due to personal preference. I got the prime rib, it's my go to order at Chop and the only time it's disappointed me was when they didn't have it. I always recommend Chop and I'll continue to do so!

Went in for a drink and bite as I was staying Nextdoor. Great food and drinks. The shrimp cocktail was delicious and I forgot to take a picture of my Maine meal but it was the Salmon. Cooked perfect and the glaze was delicious. Being our first time the manager brought out a small bite to try. It was really good.

There food here was good. My steak was perfect, but a couple people complained the cook on their meats where not right we didn't bring it up because my mother in law had to get to a party immediately afterward for her birthday and did not want to wait for a redo. I found the carrots undercooked. It was overall a really nice meal in a beautiful setting though! My steak was supposed to have bernaise, saved me some calories I guess lol. Also the blackening and char on the outside of the steak was one of the best I've had considering my steak is cooked rare so that was very enjoyable flavor and texture wise, my 4 year old liked that so much he ate a third of my rare steak lol. Both of my sons loved the wild rice and ate most of that off my plate after their meals as well. There was a kids menu here too which is nice as I did not notice that when booking the restaurant so it was great for them to have some meals more up their alley like chicken strips and a burger. The kids meal included ice cream at the end which was nice. The creme crulee was delicious. They made a nice dessert sampler for the birthday girl as well. The server was friendly, there was a couple small mix ups with drinks and things they he fixed quickly and the restaurant was very busy but service stayed really efficient. We didn't do appetizers because of a super late lunch but I definitely want to come back here and try more from this place, maybe some of the seafood dishes, they looked lovely on the menu. The decor was beautiful as well. Very pretty restaurant and friendly staff.
