Our exhilarating adventure in Glasgow kicked off with the highly anticipated Big Bus hop-on, hop-off city tour, the ultimate way to dive into the electric energy of this vibrant city! We rolled into town on Friday, September 12th, and immediately scored the ideal parking spot at NCP 15151 Kings Street, just a stone's throw away from the lively Glasgow Queens Rail Station—our gateway to an unforgettable journey! Equipped with both the A and B tour routes, we were ready to soak it all in, despite the unpredictable Scottish weather trying to dampen spirits with a chilly drizzle! The buses were perfectly timed, and their strategically placed stops throughout the city made it a breeze to hop on and off. We bravely embraced the elements aboard the open-top bus, feeling the exhilarating rush of the wind and cold as we clutched our umbrella. Some adventurous souls opted for the back seats, happily embracing the rain and huddling under their own umbrellas like true thrill-seekers, while most of us dove into the cozy, sheltered first carriage, grateful for a little warmth. Looking back, we couldn’t help but wish for more time to explore the science museum—it would have been a highlight for sure! The audio guide added another layer of excitement to our journey, enriching both tours, and even if some sights overlapped, we didn’t mind one bit. Exploring the city with the Big Bus tour was an absolute thrill, and we’re already buzzing with excitement at the thought of doing it all again during our future travels! Along the way, we met an incredible group of women from London, Sussex, and Seaside. We shared travel stories and discovered they had just come from Edinburgh, stepping off at the same stop! What a delightful coincidence—turns out they were staying at a Holiday Inn Express too, though at a different location! These magical moments filled with warm connections and friendly faces truly elevate any travel experience. As we ventured through Glasgow, we marveled at the massive changes taking place around us, especially near the bustling downtown area of George Square. While the city didn’t exactly match our online expectations, it certainly showcased its own unique charm that made our visit unforgettable. We couldn't be more thrilled to check Glasgow off our travel bucket list, and we simply can't wait to return and witness all the new vibrancy waiting for us! Riding the city’s hop-on, hop-off bus tour, complete with friendly and helpful drivers, is an absolute must for any traveler. Don’t just think about it—jump in and experience the magic!

Great way to see the sights of Glasgow. The ticket gets you access to hop on hop off tours on two routes. The red route is basically the inner city area (would strongly recommend the live tour over the taped tour) and the yellow tour covers the outer areas. Craig was great on our live tour and made the experience even better.

A Must-Do in Glasgow! I had a fantastic experience with Glasgow Hop and Go, even with limited time in the city. I hopped on the red bus around 2:00 PM due to my tight schedule, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip. Our guide, Pauline, was a local with incredible knowledge of Glasgow's history, culture, and hidden gems. Her storytelling brought the city to life! Driver Steve was equally welcoming, making the ride comfortable and smooth from start to finish. Both added a personal, friendly touch that made the experience even more memorable. The ticket cost around $24.00 USD, which I found very reasonable for the quality and convenience offered. The route covers all the major landmarks, and you can hop on and off at your own pace. That said, I would definitely recommend starting earlier in the day—especially if you want time to explore museums, galleries, or other attractions at the stops. Starting in the morning gives you a full day to soak up the city’s charm. Whether you're in Glasgow for a day or a week, this is one of the best ways to get oriented and enjoy the city's sights with ease. Highly recommended!

The best City Sightseeing Tour I've experienced! Buses were on time and didn't have to wait long for a bus. Customer Service was great. The team was all about ensuring guests had a decent experience. They also did their best to help visitors explore the city by providing general directions and information about museums, like opening hours on Sunday. Started early in the day and got a great overview of the city. The information and history was great and fun. The live tour on the red route was funny. Rob was good, providing nice tidbits about Glasgow, both major landmarks and little known places. The yellow route is great way to see portions of the city outside major attractions and the city centre. Price was £27 for 2-day ticket. Well worth the money. Well done!!

First time in Glasgow and what an amazing city of culture it is. Loved every minute of it. We did the Red Hop on Hop off bus. Jumped on at stop 15 but it wasn't very well signed posted for some reason! All the other stops are.... It was a very short break but would love to go back. Great choice of cultural activities, sightseeing, food outlets and shops.
