This place genuinely sucks. I gave it quite a bit of thought before sharing this review, but the more I contemplate the more I feel compelled to share honest feedback. I was a loyal and happy customer for 7 years prior to the most recent acquisition. My last two sessions were horrible. 1) The facility is less cared for and doesn’t have the ambiance it once had, which ultimately is forgivable if it weren’t for the other MAJOR issues I’ll list. 2) The technicians who work there are quite sweet but are seemingly undertrained in comparison to previous techs. I was in tremendous pain during my last session, the tech just kept going; wouldn’t pause on a flinch, wouldn’t give a quick rub or pat of the skin to soothe, just kept zapping the heck out of me until I verbally asked her to pause. These are little things that make a big difference in the quality of service. Not to mention for the very first time in my 7 years as a patron, my skin bubbled up during my service. I immediately asked to stop service midway to ensure there wasn’t long lasting damage (there wasn’t, thankfully). 3) whatever system they operate on for scheduling, recording services rendered and payment is disjointed so I experienced multiple scheduling issues including last minute calls and texts asking me to reschedule for another day. Laughably, I did reschedule just to receive another call asking that I reschedule AGAIN! 4) The absolute worst part is that somehow the hair that was actively disappearing from previous treatments seems to be suddenly growing back faster. I’m truly disappointed, as I really loved Clearstone prior to these changes. As other reviews have mentioned, the prices have gone up. Truthfully, I wouldn’t go back even if it were offered for free. Unfortunately my journey with Clearstone ends here.
All of the positive reviews are from before the new ownership. I have had 6 sessions here, and there was a noticeable difference before the ownership change to after. I loved my original technician, Ari, but she was pushed out among so many other great technicians. Most people that work here now haven’t been there for long and did not inspire confidence during my session. Small things that made me feel cared for like giving me a full warm blanket and removing the marker / pen marks they use before I leave are no longer commonplace. Prices have also risen, so you are paying more for lesser service I would suggest going somewhere else now
I’ve been going to Clearstone Laser Hair Removal Spa for about a year now, and I can’t recommend them enough. From my very first visit, the staff made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. They always take the time to explain the process clearly, answer any questions, and make sure I know what to expect during and after each session.
I have been a client since 2020 but the recent acquisition that happened is horrible. I can see the changes they made and the staff change and the prices change as well. I purchased a full 8 package and I was told that when I complete those 8 any full body session I purchase will be 50% off which is 250 I tried to book my session and they want me to be $500 per session when I barely have any hair left on my body. There are plenty of good laser places in Houston and it’s sad that this is no longer one of them.
Anfangs war ich SO nervös. Ich wollte schon seit einiger Zeit die Haarentfernung ausprobieren. Ich bin so froh, dass mich eine Freundin dazu ermutigt hat, Clearstone auszuprobieren. Meine Erfahrung war fantastisch, vor allem, weil ich so ein Weichei dabei war! Die Praxis ist ordentlich, sauber und sehr entspannend. Der Wartebereich ist gemütlich und mit verschiedenen Getränken ausgestattet. Gina war die absolut beste Technikerin!! Sie hat alles gründlich erklärt und meine Erfahrung großartig gemacht! Sie war geduldig mit mir und hat alle meine Fragen beantwortet. Ich kann es kaum erwarten, Ergebnisse zu sehen, weil der Vorgang schnell und einfach war. Vielen Dank, Gina und Clearstone!
