Horrible instructors and the 2 who I liked are no longer there. Been a member for well over a year, the girl at the front desk couldn't find record of that. Tried to upgrade to Pilates 2.0 classes TWICE neither instructor would pass me. I cancelled my membership on the spot after that. I notice they only offer 2.0 classes here on a VERY limited amount and those classes fill up quickly. CP clearly cannot accommodate their memebers need for more 2.0 classes. Had no issues with this place when Mike was running it, now it's in the toilet. Go elsewhere. Luckily there is a plethora of much better Pilates studios all over the cities who are easy to book with for the classes you really want to take, don't use contract memberships, and make you feel welcome, with helpful and awesome instructors.
Completed my first intro class today and it was amazing! I can already tell this is going to be such a great workout for me. Lisa was an incredible instructor, positive energy, clear guidance, and helpful throughout. Deb at the front desk was wonderful too! She was welcoming, informative, and exactly the kind of energy you want to walk into. I loved the experience so much that I signed up for a membership, excited!
As a first timer, I did not find this studio welcoming and would not recommend it. The person at the front desk was not particularly friendly (people have bad days, so forgivable) and took advantage of my lack of knowledge about the studio’s policies (less acceptable). Though recommended for beginners, I found that the instructor provided little guidance and that she wasn’t particularly observant, missing an issue with my machine until I pointed it out. My first visit here will certainly be my last after this disappointing experience. Fortunately there are many studios to choose from in the area. Update: Management spoke with my sister-in-law (who brought me to the studio as a guest) about the situation. I appreciate their efforts to rectify the situation, which will hopefully prevent others from having a similar experience.
Absolutely love this studio and their staff. Clean, kind, and welcoming! I started out knowing nothing about Pilates and gave it a try with a friend. Every class since has been a wonderful experience! I get bored of a lot of exercises quickly, but Pilates has SO MUCH variety I’ve never gotten bored. I used to have back pain too from sitting in my office chair for work all day and it has improved significantly. My back feels incredible, no more pinching all day long!
The best! I have been coming to Club Pilates Minneapolis Lakes for roughly a year. It has changed my life. The classes and instructors are great! Mike and Kaitlyn are always so welcoming! Love this studio and am excited to continue my workout journey here!
