Just started with the.company, already regret it. Have not received my new ID card, called and they can't email or text one. Jas to be mailed but have yet to receive anything. That call took over an hour. Tried calling again, after 55mins 59secs a Crystal with Support Services answered my call just to tell me they're experiencing high calls and I have to leave a message or call back. What?! She was a live person answering my call so why couldn't she help me?! Or if not let me continue to hold for someone who would?! Sounded like she just didn't want to work. After nearly an hour I was to call back and start my hold time all over again??? Why?! Then she hung up and I didn't get the survey.qiestions that the recording kept advertising. Ridiculous customer service, of it can even be called that.
AVOID THIS INSURANCE AT ALL COSTS. Community Health Choice is hands down one of the worst insurance experiences I’ve ever had. Calling customer service is a waste of time: endless hold times, zero solutions, and agents who sound annoyed before even listening. You pay a lot and get absolutely nothing in return. This plan causes stress, delays, and frustration. Not worth it. Stay away.
WARNING: DO NOT SIGN UP FOR COMMUNITY HEALTH CHOICE. This is the worst health insurance you can possibly have. Under no circumstances should you fall into this trap. Phone support is a complete nightmare: up to two hours on hold, just to speak with someone who doesn’t solve anything and doesn’t even greet you properly. No respect, no professionalism, no real help. If you value your time, your health, and your peace of mind, stay away from this insurance.
I’ve had this insurance for a couple years - the coverage itself has been nice, but I’ve been having account issues with them for 4-5 months, and despite endless assurances (“Oh it should be resolved in a month! Oh just one to two business weeks. We’ll probably have it resolved in two days. We’ll call you back tomorrow!)… it is still unresolved (and now in January, I can’t even get in touch with them at all). The ability of the representatives/agents and their supervisors to get the tech issues fixed seems poor, but I will say: it’s pretty straightforward in terms of insurance. My actual plan is pretty good, but my frustrations with getting anything fixed (when they’ve had 4+ months to fix something so basic) means that if anything goes wrong (and let’s be honest, when *doesn’t* something go wrong?) you could be screwed with little-to-no recourse. I’m sitting on the phone waiting for them to pick up, as I have many times before, and it’s at the point I’d rather look elsewhere for insurance than accept another promise that anybody at the company knows how Salesforce works. PS If you ever decide to resolve my issue, I’m sure I could leave a better review ;)
Very disappointing experience from the start. I’ve spent around 2 hours on hold each day for the past 4 days without ever reaching a representative. This is extremely frustrating for a healthcare insurance company, especially when trying to manage coverage for a child. I’m unable to change my child’s PCP despite having already paid the premium. On top of that, the online portal has been down, making it impossible to handle basic account needs. I’ve also reached out through Instagram and Facebook and have not received any response. Overall, this has been a poor introduction to Community Health Choice, and I am already planning to change providers as soon as possible. Would not recommend.
