Cool venue with a fun, unpredictable lineup for The Ruckus Revival show — skits, burlesque, great local rappers, and an MC who keeps the energy moving. Nothing feels forced or boring, just random in the best way. The jokes land, the crowd stays hyped, and the whole night flies by. Happens every second Thursday of the month and is 100% worth checking out. Can't wait to come back for the next show!!
Went there for a show and it was cutoff part way through and everyone had to leave. Noticed something floating in my drink. Overall bad experience. Music was good though.
This review is strictly for the owner of the club and his actions two Saturdays ago. Let me start off by saying the rules to your club become secondary to the rules of engagement when I am being threatened with violence from not only another patron of your establishment, but from you yourself as well. The stupidest thing you could do as a business owner(first is assume I was the one who started the altercation) is interject yourself into a situation in such a way that makes me assume that you plan to engage me in some type of physical manner, because had I not been showing any type of restraint, you would have been the second person to be rendered unconscious. You DO NOT force yourself into my or anyone elses physical space during a heated exchange that YOUR security was already handling. What you did was a sign of your ego getting the best of you and once again, fortunately, I am a man who practices self control, because it could have gotten way worse for everyone involved excluding me and the date I was with. I doubt I'll be back, for one, I usually don't go to clubs, and two, the thought of someone like you owning the only club in West Oakland doesn't sit well with me. I wish the brothers working there nothing but success, though I pray yall find it being employed by someone else...
Ordered a cocktail yesterday night. While the bartender made it, I noticed he scooped several little black things out of the drink but didn't see exactly what it was. Later I inspected my drink before drinking and found a fruit fly in it. Returned the drink and the bartender started inspecting the bottom of the liquor bottles holding them up against the light. Paid for an expensive cocktail to be served a fruit fly drink intentionally.
We went here for kamyar's concert, and we had the blast. I think the club was very spacious and clean, and the staff were very friendly and overall, a very, very good vibe.I highly recommend this club, and i'm sure you're gonna have a great time, No matter what the event is.
