This was my second time using Cool Hand Movers. They are responsive, professional and less expensive than other companies. I had to change my move date / items a few times and the home office was quick to send me updated quotes/confirmations very quickly. On the day of the move, the team showed up on time and worked very fast and impressively (as stated by our building super!). We had 3 moving companies in at one time due to a local and long-distance move, but everyone at Cool Hand Movers was clear what was going in their truck and all groups worked together. If I'm ever back in NY area, I will definitely use them and highly recommend them for anyone needing this service!

This company is fantastic! I had earlier contacted some other places who gave me crazy number for moving a small amount of furniture and several boxes less than a half a mile away. A good friend suggested Cool Hand Movers and they saved the day. Even when the client changed the move day mere hours before they kindly adjusted and rescheduled. Day of move went smoothly and the guys brought everything up the elevator with ease. They even attached a new headboard to the existing adjustable bed for me saving my back! The final charge was so fantastic they will be my go to for all my design clients. I can't thank them enough!

What a terrific operation! My husband and I moved from lower Manhattan to the Upper East Side, and Cool Hand Movers sent a delightfully diverse, polite and property-sensitive crew of four to pack us up over the course of one day and move us the next morning. We did our best to stay out of their way as they prepped, but while we were on hand they thoughtfully asked about how we wanted particular items to be handled. Led by team-honcho Davis, who projects the kind of chill confidence you need during a stressful move and who did a remarkable job packing the onerous kitchen breakables, CHM had us in our new place ahead of schedule the second day, despite the obstacles of city traffic (Davis texted us regularly to keep us apprised of their progress uptown). Our 56 crates of stuff arrived entirely intact and well labeled, and we were given a comfortable two-week window in which to unpack them. The team had done an impressive job protecting the fragile tchotchkes, and the only issue we encountered were some boxes of books that had been enthusiastically overpacked, which made them problematic to lift and move in the new place, despite their leaving a few dollies to get stuff from room to room. The final bill did not stray from the estimate, which was icing on the cake of a job smoothly executed.
