Cornerstone Martial Arts & Leadership Academy in Arlington bietet ein einladendes Fitness- und Kampfsportprogramm, das durch eine dorfähnliche Donjang-Gemeinschaft geprägt ist. Die Trainerinnen und Trainer werden für Geduld, Disziplin und Ermutigung gelobt, die den Kindern helfen, Selbstvertrauen, Konzentration und Belastbarkeit zu entwickeln, während sie Führungskompetenzen fördern und eine positive, unterstützende Umgebung schaffen.

We’ve been part of this donjang family for a year now, and I couldn’t be more grateful! From day one, the instructors have poured so much patience, discipline, and encouragement into my son. I’ve watched him grow not just in skill, but in confidence, listening, and overall character. They truly show up for the kids and are committed to helping them become the best version of themselves. What started as classes quickly became a community… and now it genuinely feels like family. Getting Ramon to try new things is not an easy task! When we mentioned Karate to him, it did peak his interest a bit. We wanted to find an educational program that was not all about the "win" in tournaments. After 6 months of looking, we stumbled across Cornerstone and decided to give it a try. We went to a trial class where he could test his confidence and courage. Breaking the board during that trial class sold him! If he could do something so hard on his first try, he knew he could learn some great things from this school. Ramon may not smile much in class, but that is only because he is listening and concentrating on the task he is given. I am so amazed watching him during class, continuing to try the moves that requires his coordination and him never giving up. I literally see progress before my eyes. From the start of class to the end of the class, there is so much progress made. Thank you to Cornerstone Martial Arts and Leadership Academy for allowing my son the space to gain confidence, courage, and be a part of the family.
Cornerstone Martial Arts told me when we visited after expressing my reasoning for added discipline for my children “it takes a village and now we are your village.” That dedication alone was enough to rope me in. It has been a wonderful experience watching my children grow so far in the program. Thank you to everyone at the academy!
Cornerstone has been a life changing experience for my son Daniel. When he first started over a year ago he was not in a good mental health place. The instructors here have changed that completely. From Mr.Westbrook taking his time with Danny in private classes to Jokyo Gaudet teaching black belt club to Daniel making it in to Masters club. Daniel has found his confidence every step of the way. This place is one of the best and most welcoming academy’s. Would 1000% recommend it to anyone.
Watching my daughter grow through martial arts has been such a beautiful experience. We’ve only been here a few weeks, but the confidence, focus, and strength she’s already developing brings tears to my eyes. Seeing her push herself, learn, and shine—it’s honestly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for her. I’m so proud of how far she’s come, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes her.
