Recently purchased a new home and was in need of a backyard fence. Kyle, the owner, met me to look at the project and communicated exactly what was needed. He followed up with a detailed proposal and deliver date. The fence went in today and I could not be more pleased- I would highly recommend Cowboy Fence!!
Cowboy Gate installed a new gate opener on our electric sliding fence at the entrance to the alley of our house. They were a cheaper bid than others, but they came recommended by neighbors. It turned into a multi-month fiasco. We need to use solar power for our electric gate, which works fine and has in the past. Cowboy installed the new gate opener, but then it continually had issues with power and throwing codes for not having enough. Cowboy blamed our tree, even after we had it needlessly cut back at their recommendation. Cowboy charged us $150 to install the exact same inappropriate batteries, claiming the batteries were bad. With the help of a better gate company, we learned that Cowboy had installed batteries that were too low in capacity and were not appropriate. Once the other gate company installed the correct batteries, the opener has worked great with no problems since. Although Cowboy indicated they would send someone to look, they did not volunteer whether they would replace the batteries with the correct ones for free. By that point, we’d had enough of Cowboy and did not trust them. We had the new gate company install the correct batteries, and the gate works great now. Bottom line, Cowboy underbid and underdelivered.
We had a fantastic experience with Cowboy designing and installing a custom white wooden picket fence for our historic home. What stood out most was their use of augmented reality to show us exactly how the fence would look and function before installation — it gave us real confidence in the design. They took the time to understand our use case: enclosing part of our 1.5-acre lot so our kids and pets could play safely, while also accounting for parking, back porches, and alignment with our neighbor’s property. The office manager kept us updated on scheduling, and the foreman, Luke, was outstanding — adjusting on the fly for our yard’s grade, communicating changes clearly, and ensuring the final product looked amazing. The crew worked quickly, cleaned up after themselves, and even handled removing the old chain link fence and rotted wood with no issues. The end result is beautiful, solid, and exactly what we envisioned. Highly recommend!
This is the second time I’ve worked with Cowboy Fence and Iron Co. and both experiences have been excellent. Years ago they helped install an automatic rolling gate and it’s still working great. Most recently they came to the rescue when a section of my fence started leaning badly. I thought it might need to be replaced, but they were able to reinforce and straighten it beautifully. The new posts they installed not only stabilized the fence but actually improved how it looks. From start to finish everything was handled professionally. They came out exactly when they said they would for the quote, got it to me quickly, and scheduled the work for a specific day and showed up right on time. They even coordinated with the gas company for marking before digging. The crew was respectful, efficient, and clearly took pride in their work. Their pricing was more than fair for the quality of work and service provided. They took great care of me and made the whole process easy. Highly recommend.
Cowboy fence is awesome! They did an amazing job on my fence redo and new driveway gate, and wrought iron fence. I had gotten a quote from them a year ago but went with someone else and what a disaster that was, 😑I was so thankful they were willing to still work with me and they were able to fix what little the other guy had done. The guys working were super nice, worked hard and fast and what a beautiful fence I have. Thank you Kyle, Gabe and crew I just love it
