Elisa was recommended by my bridal shop, and after working with her it is clear why she's their top rec! She treated my wedding gown, rehearsal dinner dress, and afterparty dress with such care. Each of them fit like a glove when she was finished. She was flexible and understanding when one dress took several tries before it fit the way I was hoping. I feel like people don't talk about the importance of a wedding gown bustle enough. Your bustle can make or break your reception experience and photos. It changes the silhouette of your dress and allows you to move freely (or not) - it is so important! I was hopeful for a French bustle, and my dress was nearly too long to accomplish it. Elisa worked patiently to find a way to tuck my extremely long train into the dress. The bustle was intuitive and my mom and wedding day team had no trouble arranging it on the day of. I didn't step on my dress even once, despite two fairly involved partner dances. I cannot recommend Elisa enough. She is a joy to work with and she takes care of you like you're family. I'll be going back to her for any important gowns I have.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Elisa! I came to her with a wedding dress that was way too big. Beautiful, but overwhelming and completely the wrong fit. Elisa was perfect!!! She takes great care and pride in her work and it truly shows. I was able to dance my wedding night away with no worries, because the alterations were perfect! And seriously, I don't think she could've made the bustling any easier. She's so, so good at what she does, and a true pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!!!

Elisa did a phenomenal job altering my wedding dress. She came highly recommended from Mimi’s (where I purchased the gown). I called her the week after purchasing my gown to get on her schedule as she only takes a certain number of brides a month. Elisa was incredibly accommodating as I traveled quite a bit before our wedding. Getting appointments that fit into my hectic schedule was a breeze. She was extremely professional, detail oriented, and created the most beautiful French bustle and shortened my dress to the appropriate height. Her work was top notch, and she was a lot of fun to chat with during appointments too. Her business has designated parking spots in Clayton which made parking a breeze regardless of when your appointment was. Thank you Elisa for playing such an important role in our special day!

If you’re getting married and need gown alterations, there is no one better in St. Louis then Elisa at Cozynest! From the moment I met Elisa, I felt at such ease and so comfortable. She made me feel beautiful at every appointment. She’s kind, organized and so very good at what she does. After my first appointment, I knew what to expect through the process and what each appointment would entail. Her organization of the whole process is exceptional. I had a very long train on my gown. Elisa made bustling it so easy for my bridesmaid, scheduling a whole appointment just to teach her until she was comfortable enough on her own to do it. Elisa also worked wonders with my dress straps - and let me tell you, those straps did not fall down once on my wedding day! She also last minute was able to alter my mother-in-law’s dress AND make a ring bearer pillow from my mother-in-law’s old wedding dress. It was beautiful and so special. It’s scary trusting someone with your wedding gown, but there is no one you can trust more than Elisa!
