Alfred Calantoc did a great job repairing my storm doors. He arrived on the dot, assessed the damaged doors, and went out to purchase the replacement parts. He also installed a new faucet on a sink for me. I was given a quote for the cost of labor up front, so there were no surprises. He was very friendly and explained what he was doing, and explained my options along the way. Scheduling the service was very easy and Tyler was very communicative and friendly.
We had a great experience working with Brandon from Cransten Handyman and Remodeling. From the very beginning, he impressed us with his communication and attention to detail. We had an issue with a roof leak that was causing damage to a bathroom ceiling, and Brandon took the time to thoroughly investigate the problem, explain what was happening, and walk us through our options. What really stood out was how committed he was to finding not just a quick fix, but a long-term solution that would prevent future issues. His transparency and problem-solving gave us a lot of confidence throughout the process. It’s clear that Brandon takes pride in what he does, and it shows. We would absolutely use Cransten's services again, and would specifically ask for Brandon if possible.
The project Cranston did for me was replacing carpeted stairs with wood treads and trimming out an open loft area with stair nosing and re-installing the pre-existing balusters. I worked with both Brandon and Alfred. Brandon was my initial contact—he provided the estimate, got me on the schedule, and followed up in a professional but non-pushy way. He was always quick to respond to my questions, even if I wasn’t as fast in replying. When a scheduling hiccup came up, he communicated right away and offered a solution so I wouldn’t have to reschedule other contractors. When I pointed out a miscommunication related to service charges, he was very apologetic and handled it with professionalism. Alfred was my contractor, and he is AMAZING. I can’t recommend him enough. He has a great personality—polite, professional, and very communicative. Anytime I had questions, he took the time to explain. If something unexpected came up, he would walk me through my options and help me make an informed decision. I'm very meticulous with an eye for detail, and Alfred gave me complete confidence that the job was being done right without me needing to hover. Our project did take a little longer than expected, but it was never a problem because working with both Brandon and Alfred was such a positive experience.
Cranston Handyman service was great. Called and discussed the project and received an initial estimate for the work the same day. The project coordinator was willing to work within my reasonable budget. We agreed on a date to start the project. I was contacted by the handyman, Eric Gilbert, 24 hours before they were scheduled to arrive. Eric arrived on time and completed the work in a timely fashion. Was courteous and thoughtful through the project. Work was completed on time and looks great!
We had an old gazebo that needed some TLC, board replacement and fresh coat of paint. Jon was amazing and did fantastic job. Went above and beyond to work with us and completed the job to clean it up and make it beautiful again. Would highly recommend. Fair prices and great communication.
