⭐ 1 Star — A Week of Misery for a “One‑Day” Repair Crash Champions may have fixed the body of my vehicle, but everything after that has been an absolute disaster. I was told the remaining issue—a simple tire pressure sensor—would take one day. Because of that promise, I didn’t get a rental car. One day without a car is manageable. It has now been a full week, and I still don’t have my vehicle. They’ve repeatedly admitted they can’t figure out the tire pressure sensor, yet somehow I’m the one paying the price for their lack of expertise. No updates, no solutions, no accountability—just delay after delay while my life is put on hold. Meanwhile, I’ve been walking around the city in below‑zero temperatures because they can’t resolve a basic issue they claimed would be quick and easy. If they had been honest from the start, I could have arranged transportation instead of freezing my way through the week. Crash Champions might be fine for bodywork, but if your repair involves anything more complex than paint, prepare for excuses, delays, and a whole lot of frustration. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.
My vehicle has been sitting at the Lincoln Park facility for 5 days. It was supposed to be transferred to the Glenview facility. Called Glenview and they never received it. Try to call the LP facility and get VM. Nobody returns my call. State Farm recommended this place. My experience has been brutal.
Crash Champions Division St. has become my go to for body work/repair. Living in the city you will inevitably need it. On my Audi A3 I've had some repairs minor things but all perfectly fixed. I hav a newer Tacoma and I sidewiped a parking post. UGH. They fixed it. Now, they accidentally scratched my windows--- and so they acknowledged it and they replaced them and they paid for the tint by the original shop. Then the carwash damaged a painted edgeguard and they fixed that to new. Unfortunately, I was hit by another driver (100% other drivers fault) and my truck is my pride and joy with premium after market. I an working with them now -- they are super friendly and attentive. I'll post about the result as another review. But I have confidence they will do great... the fact they are direct pay by my insurance USAA says a lot PLUS the lifetime guarantee. I know they love my truck and will treat it like I would.
Extremely disappointing. I had taken my vehicle here previously and received excellent service. Because of that, I recommended this location to everyone. During my recent visit I recognized none of the staff, which is fine. Unfortunately, the bald African American gentleman with the beard that inquired as to why I was there proceeded to immediately become extremely sassy with me, instantly creating a hostile visit. I proceeded to then essentially be declined service, which was immediately accepted at a similar location. Now, I understand that the employees have dealt with a thousand people having a bad day [due to a collision]. However, it's not my job to understand why you're giving me an attitude: it's your job to provide good service, regardless if I'm the 1st or 1000th customer ever. I do wish them the best, but I won't be returning to this location and will be sure to steer others away as well.
The efficient repair of my car, punctuality, and stellar customer service truly set them apart. Their exceptional customer service manager Abel , deserves special recognition for their amazing assistance. Keep up the great work, Crash Champion!
