Happy to use Crest Clean deep cleaning services once again at my disabled father's apartment. They were super detailed and very kind to my father and his Dog cookie! I contacted Crest Clean AZ to set up bi weekly cleaning for my 900 sq ft townhome. I was told the first clean would be more extensive, which I understood and agreed to. I was given a price range of $180 to $240, but I was specifically reassured over the phone that they did not expect the cost to exceed $180. Based on that reassurance, I agreed to book the service. I would not have booked if I believed the price would be anywhere near $240. The cleaners were in my home for less than two hours and this was not a deep clean service. After the cleaning was completed, I was contacted and told the charge would be $240. At no point before the cleaning began was I notified that the cost would be higher or asked to approve a price increase. I questioned the amount and asked to speak with a manager. I explained that if the price was going to exceed what I was led to expect, I should have been contacted before the service started so I could approve or decline it. After hours of back and forth and being told someone would call me back, I was told I had two options: allow my card to be charged $240 or be sent an invoice for $240. I clearly stated that I did not consent to either option. I only consented to $180, which was the amount reflected in the quote I signed. Despite this clear lack of consent, my credit card was charged anyway. I disputed the charge with my credit card company. After reviewing the quote, invoice, and contract, the bank ruled in my favor. Providing a price range does not remove the obligation to communicate changes and obtain customer approval before charging more. Being told I would either be charged or invoiced despite explicitly withholding consent is unacceptable. Based on this experience, I would not trust this company with future service.
Crest Clean has been cleaning my house for months. They do amazing job. It's so nice to have the whole house clean at one time! They are easy to schedule with and add on services when needed. They also show up when they say they will and communicate any time needed.
