All around the whole experience was remarkable from inside the classroom to outside in the field, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Did a remarkable job! Mrs Lewis Was extremely helpful in getting any aid we needed. Mrs Lewis was great at all the classroom tasks, outside in the field Mr. Lewis has excellent, teaching ability and has more patience than I have ever seen and has the know how to bring even the newest driver up to par!! I seen guys that walked into that classroom that had never been behind the wheel of any type of standard vehicle that left driving and shifting like professionals. I want to thank them both for the great job they did with my team. I will be recommending them for a lot of future work!
if I could give this school 0 stars I would a thousand times! First off let me say that this had to be the worst thing I have ever experienced. So when I first started going to this school in May,2024 everything started off fine! We studied and obtained our Cdl permit in the first week. Second week ( first 2 days) we learned how to pre trip the truck. That was successful! For the remainder of week 2 & week 3 we did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!! This was a 4 week class we sat under the tree in the yard the entire work day for 2.5 weeks & learned nothing! They had 1 instructor to 50+ students and he was more interested in teaching the drivers on the manual truck than he was with the people doing automatic. Which left students who obtained NEITHER Class A or Class B CDL to teach us! They start a new class every week. It’s literally all about $ there. I regret EVER going to this school! Once I voiced my opinion on how we weren’t getting time behind the wheel to the instructor all hell broke lose! Erica was more concerned about the dispute I had with her “HUSBAND” rather than the underlying issue of us not getting time behind the wheel because they still had 2 classes out there before us.Because they needed them to test out we had to sit there until they got it, not saying it was an issue but the fact that it was cutting into our seat time was my issue! Then they tried to cram 3 courses ally docking, offset, & straight back in 1 weeks time, with 1 instructor & 30 plus ppl on 1 truck! Imagine how long it took for your turn to come back around! This is a waste of time! Bottom line is PICK ANOTHER MORE PROFESSIONAL SCHOOL WITH INSTRUCTORS WHO ACTUALLY CARE, because they don’t it’s all about money here!
I got my CDL class A here last month and this school was best choice, all the staff is very helpful especially Miss Walker and Mr. Lewis once again thank you so much. Do not hesitate coming here to get your CDL class A or B, they will be more than happy to help you.
Transitioning from the medical field to trucking industry is not an easy Task especially working late nights with children, but this school is more than ready to help you along the way. They are very understanding and will accommodate your schedule the check on your well-being and make you feel valued and safe. The instructors are very good at their job. They make sure you understand the information before you get on the road while going through the process they are there to make sure everything is 100% knowledgeable for you if you’re looking for a good trucking school, that will help you and benefit you. You should definitely try crossroad Academy.
I enjoyed my time in this school. The instructors were very knowledgeable, and they teach you exactly what you need to know. When I first saw the parts of the truck, I thought it was going to be pretty hard to remember it all; but with how the instructors taught it, they made it really easy to remember. They also let me get enough training on the driving part to where it became easy to do. With their guidance and training, I was able to pass my exams on my first try. I want to thank the whole staff for helping me out in the process and never giving up on me. If you're looking to get your CDL, this is the school to go to! Thank you again!
