I feel like I am being scammed. I have tried to cancel my subscription first time I went in to cancel was because was moving. They continued to reply with you have to wait after then 50 something dollar annual payment after I had been paying 10 each month. I waited. I am a college broke college student. I moved 2 hours away from the gym and they tell me I have to come in to cancel my membership. Call again and they say I have to pay 140 to cancel it. This makes no sense very much a scam if u ask me. Don’t lose your money to this gym. Zero stars if I could put it.
Gym its self is nice, most of the staff is awesome… management is the worst! Was told not to cancel bc they can transfer my home gym to where I am moving. Took over a month and multiple conversations for them to turn around and cancel my membership. Did exactly what I was told to do to get the transfer, they never put in the paperwork, then was told the documents I submitted for proof of residency isn’t valid and requested a document I do not have after specifying I do not have said document. Would’ve continued with crunch if they simply transferred my home gym like they said they would/could do. Will not be signing up with them again
Love this gym!! It’s my favorite in corpus and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Whether it’s in person or over the phone. The gym is newly renovated and it’s kept so clean. Love the hydro massage bed too and I need to try the red light therapy soon too.
This is a really good place in my opinion to be a member. The staff is friendly and the cleaning crews do a great job of taking care of the facility. The machines are well-built and operational.
This location used to be another chain gym. When I was looking for a gym to stop into, this one was the closet., When I pulled into the parking lot, I laughed because I realized I had worked out here before when it a different franchise. The place was well stocked with equipment. I was impressed that it was not very crowded at all. I also did not run into the same cast of characters that I usually do - a bunch of young kids who are "camped out" on 3 machines and forget even trying to grab dumbbells or free weights because they are "doing a set" when they are just been sitting posing in front of the mirror the whole time you are working out. I quickly navigated to my usual workout, knock it out and went off to use the aqua massage,. The young lady working overnights was nice. She did make sure I was able to get a massage bed. I am glad to see Crunch took over this location. It was a little far from the hotel I was staying at, but well worth the drive. I know it is not the fault of the owner, but would love to see more options for protein bars and drinks. There is a cooler and they do sell "Do It" projects. Crunch is sitting on a goal mine if they would sell cases of energy drinks, pre workout from different companies and what not.
