Visited Crystal Springs for a look around before deciding whether to book. The main reception office was so unclean and smelt of old soaked in dog urine on the link mats on the floor. On the walk around kennels were dark and dingy. Strong old urine smell in the kennels. Days old poo in one of the runs. Wasn't pleasant at all. The runs themselves were old and dated. The whole place definitely needs a refurbishment and a serious deep clean. Stated they let the dogs out singularly four times a day which was hard to believe with such a strong urine smell which smelt like days old and most likely soaked into the kennel floor. They are only open twice a day which doesn't match the four times a day let out into the run. I won't be booking or recommending.

I have an extremely fearful and reactive border collie who is used to being at home with me all the time. As my son is getting married in few weeks it was necessary for me to investigate boarding kennels. I was very nervous about leaving her, but Charlotte and Joanne were wonderful, didn't dismiss my fears, reassured me even suggested a trial run. They kept me updated on how she was and I was elated to see how happy she was with the ladies and the care they provided. I have no problem now taking her to Crystal Springs and am looking to book her in for a weekend every couple of months or so, just so it remains familiar to her. I would highly recommend Crystal Springs to anyone looking for somewhere to board their dog.

My two dogs came home very happy from a few days staying at Crystal Springs. Charlotte and Joanne were brilliant and very reassuring when I left them there for the the first time. They were lovely with my boys so I would highly recommend them 😀

Absolutely excellent service. As a new dog owner, the ladies really put my mind at ease. My BC now stays over regularly and he is always well looked after. He's a bit of a fussy eater and they go out of their way to make sure he's eating properly. He loves going there and would definitely recommend.
