I love going to Headingley Harriers every Saturday morning. It is such a great way to kick off the weekend. Such an inclusive, friendly club with extremely supportive coaches (Chris & Mac) who make everyone feel welcome, no matter your level. I’ve made some lovely friends there in a short space of time, the sessions are great and it’s always a good atmosphere whatever the weather throws at us. Best running club in Leeds!
I can’t recommend CSS Fitness highly enough. From the beginning, Chris has taken the time to properly educate me on strength and resistance training, helping me understand why I’m doing each movement and not just going through the motions. I originally started personal training in the hope of looking and feeling great in a suit. With a wedding looming and my starting weight at just 63.9kg, one of my big aims was to increase my weight and build some solid muscle. In just 13 Weeks of training I’ve gained over 10kg (now 74.1kg), and I’m absolutely loving my progress. I’m noticeably stronger, more confident in the gym, and much happier with my physique. The improvement in both my physical strength and mindset has been huge. Thanks to Chris and his knowledge, coaching style, expertise, and constant support, I’ve achieved far more than I expected in such a short time. If you’re looking for a coach who genuinely cares about your progress and helps you build real confidence in the gym, then I’ve no hesitation in recommending CSS Fitness. Life changing, thanks Chris!
Another great week with the crew! The social group run at Headingley Harriers is not necessarily about speed or distance, but more about enjoying the miles, sharing a few laughs, and strengthening the sense of community that makes this running club special. From being a first-timer to running more regularly now, everyone played a part in creating a positive, welcoming atmosphere. True to the club spirit of Headingley Harriers, nobody is left behind as we always run together and finish as a team. Looking forward to more easy miles, strong conversations, and even stronger vibes next week!
The Headingley Harriers running club gets me out of bed on a Saturday morning. Such a welcoming, supportive group that makes running feel social and fun rather than a chore. I’ve met so many great people through the club, and the post-run coffee with new friends is always a highlight. Perfect mix of community, motivation, and good vibes.
