Cultural Arts Center bietet ein lebendiges Kunsterlebnis in der Innenstadt von Columbus und präsentiert erschwingliche Kurse in Keramik, Emaille, Malerei, Skulptur, Weberei und mehr. Untergebracht im historischen Armory-Gebäude umfasst es eine Galerie im Eingangsbereich und einen Laden mit von Studierenden hergestellten Waren. An der 139 W Main St bietet es kostenloses Parken sowie einen kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz und veranstaltet Ausstellungen und Gemeinschaftsveranstaltungen, die Anwohnerinnen und Anwohner sowie Besucher anziehen.

I just took my very first art class since high school here; the instructor was phenomenal, the atmosphere was perfect, and I already feel far more confident than before I arrived!
Do not take classes with the ceramics instructor Sandy/Sandra Lang. She is the type of teacher that makes people not want to return. I truly believe that she is destructive to the environment at the cultural arts center. An unhappy person who hates to teach. She will degrade your work and won’t give you any constructive feedback. I have advised everyone I know to stay away from her classes, and to stick with Sarah or Adena. They are both kind people who want to help members of the community get in touch with their artistic selves. They are happy to be there and happy to have new students. They want to help people learn. It’s unfortunate that with years of complaints from many students, that the center allows Sandra Lang to stay employed there. Maybe it will change someday 🙂 everyone else is lovely and it’s a great place to create art!
Some very nice people here Great equipment good classes very capable instructors has to be one of my favorite learning spots at this time. It continues to be one of the best places to go for art education and exhibits. Still just the best place ever. Great instructors.
This place is pretty incredible- right in the center of downtown there is a community arts space that offers affordable classes to Columbus residents- ceramics, enamel work, painting, sculpture, weaving and the like. There is a gallery on the entrance floor and a shop of handmade goods that students made. It’s in the old armory building which is historical and unique. There is free parking and a paid lot,
Ich liebe diesen Ort absolut. Habe hier 2012 meine Hochzeit gefeiert. Es war eine Hochzeit im Mai, und Geoff war großartig, mit dem man gut zusammenarbeiten konnte, ebenso wie alle, mit denen wir vom Cultural Arts Center gearbeitet haben. Wir liebten den Raum sowohl draußen als auch drinnen. Zum Glück hielt das Wetter, und die Hochzeit fand draußen statt. Ich würde absolut empfehlen, hier zu heiraten – und hier auch eine Empfangsfeier zu planen – falls die passende Größe der Versammlung gegeben ist. Nicht mehr als 100 Personen für Hochzeit und Empfang zusammen, und bis zu 175 Personen nur für die Trauung.
