I took 4 times double classes with Mr Zhang, he is very gentle patient instructor and doesn’t mind repeating things several times 😅 I passed with only 2 small mistakes in San Jose, they had available appointments sooner than Santa Clara. He knew routes for exam and he knew DMV offices very well, which counter is for what. Reason I took four double classes is that after second I took vacation, so even if I was ready after third one I took 4th just as precaution.

Sharing my wonderful experience with Cupertino Driving School! I’m very thankful to Cupertino Driving School for helping me pass my DMV driving exam! First, I want to thank Lily for her amazing support in scheduling my lessons. She’s always efficient, kind, and quick to respond to all my messages. Your help made the whole process smooth and stress-free — thank you so much, Lily! I also want to acknowledge Mr. Wensheng Zhang, my first instructor. He was very patient, attentive, and always guided me with care. He helped me recognize and improve my weak areas while keeping each lesson enjoyable with great conversations. I’m very grateful for his teaching and dedication — I truly got better after every session. Next, a big thank you to Mr. John Shin, who prepared me right before my exam. His strict but thoughtful approach kept me alert and focused. He shared helpful tips, facts, and even materials that made a huge difference. While he’s firm, his goal is always to make sure you’re ready and confident. His dedication really helped me strengthen my driving skills. Both Mr. Zhang and Mr. Shin played a big part in helping me pass my exam on the first attempt. Their patience, professionalism, and commitment to their students are truly remarkable. I highly recommend Cupertino Driving School to anyone learning to drive. You’ll not only meet excellent instructors who care about your progress but also experience friendly and efficient support from their team. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience!

Had a great experience with Cupertino Driving School! Ray was very helpful and responsive in scheduling lessons and answering any questions I had. I took around four lessons with Sean, who was very attentive and patient. So happy to have been able to pass my driving test at Santa Clara before college with their help :)

I had a fantastic experience with Cupertino Driving School! Easily 5/5 stars. I could sing the praises of my instructor, John Shin. Literally the goat. Going into my first lesson, I felt a certain level of driving anxiety. John helped me build a foundation by using numbers and reference points to help me understand the basics, some of which I continued to think about even as I gained experience. He was calm and patient even when I was driving pretty slow (and later on, a little too fast), or when he had to use the passenger brake a few times. Phenomenal instructor, and an awesome and chill person too. Our early conversations were short and limited to driving, but I eventually felt comfortable enough to ask John about himself. Through this, I got to know him a lot better. I think this multitasking (while staying aware of road conditions) actually helped my progress, and it also made my lessons more interesting. If you're interested in tech and stocks, he's your guy. Note: during some of my lessons, another student and I practiced pulling over to the curb in the same area. My instructor then briefly got out of the car and seemed to talk to/exchange something with the other instructor? This didn't happen many times, and it didn't affect the quality of my lessons, but I'm just not sure what that was about. Ultimately, I passed the behind the wheel test on my first try, less than a month after my first lesson. I never would have imagined I could improve so much in such little time. With John's help, I ended up becoming very familiar with the potential DMV routes, which made my test day experience a lot better. His knowledge and support immensely boosted my self-confidence. I am truly grateful. A big thank you as well to Ray, who demonstrated exemplary customer service. He was incredibly responsive, usually replying within minutes. This helped make my experience with scheduling appointments very seamless. My only complaint is that the school's schedule for instructor availability seems to be an internal thing, meaning you can't view it online to plan ahead. If you are looking for a reasonably priced driving school in the South Bay, this is absolutely the place to go. Highly recommend for both teenagers and adults, especially if you plan to take the test at the Santa Clara DMV. Best of luck!

Mr Li is a very good teacher. He taught my son how to drive. My son had no driving experience. Within a week, I could see that my son was very excited and confident to drive car. He also followed all the rules and turned out to be a very smooth driver. He passed his exams very quickly because of Mr. Li’ guidance. Totally worth it.
