We have been to many escape room venues over the years, and this one was a top contender! The atmosphere was great, the room was EXTREMELY detailed and well thought out, and our Game Master Jeff was absolutely the best we’ve ever had! He provided help (and laughs) when needed and really made the experience seem personalized. This room was great for experienced folks, and I think even newbies would have a great time with this challenge! We can’t wait to try their other rooms

I highly recommend this escape room! The room itself was very immersive, with a wonderful storyline. There were styles of puzzles that we had never seen before, in the BEST way. Our game master was incredibly friendly and informative. We can't wait to go back to try more rooms!

My review is LONG OVERDUE!!!! This is the escape room that Norfolk needs and I hope it stays around to get the recognition it truly deserves!! In fact, it is the only escape room in Norfolk and it's a total a hidden gem! I had never been before, but I walked in there for the first time November 14th and it changed my life!! My family members and I are Harry Potter fans! (Understatement). The only thing I love more than Harry Potter is a great escape room!! So imagine my surprise when I got both at once!! This business answered a difficult request, and assisted my honey in creating one of the most memorable days of our lives!! Alex, Jeff, Darren, and Jess perfectly helped piece together my proposal!! The game is not only intriguing, but also interactive. The attention to detail is nothing less than spectacular!! They made a box for my ring box for the special occasion. With care, Snape's famous heartfelt word "Always" was even beautifully written inside!! The game master (Jeff) remained in character the entire time with the best wizard impression anyone has EVER heard!! There was never a dull moment in the Herbology room. There were several different puzzles to solve to keep you interested from start to finish of the room as the timer ticked on!! Prior to entering the room, we had the option to add rubber duckies to find during our game for a small extra fee. We had a great time trying to find the mini dragon as a friendly competition as well during our game!! (I found it!😏) Our game masters gave us gentle nudges and kept us on track when we requested it as discussed prior to starting!! These amazing guys were so professional and spot on that I suspected absolutely NOTHING and was too focused on simply having a great time until the exact moment my ring was revealed!! (Which they took great care of until our game began). They incorporated the spells perfectly and even took photos for us to help commemorate our special moment!! It was a fun time for my parents and us to enjoy time together l, and these guys sincerely went above and beyond to ensure that that happened! This spot and the staff will always be special to me. I look forward to spreading the word about them and returning to try out more rooms with plenty of friends and family!! Thank you guys so much!! I suggest everyone visits!!! CURTAIN CALLS XSCAPE IS ONE OF A KIND!!!🥹❤️

This was our staff Christmas party, and we had varying levels of experience from zero to advanced. Alex was welcoming, the explanation was clear, and we jumped in with both feet. It was a little challenging, but we got good nudges and good direction. And we solved the puzzle with two minutes to go--with help from our game master. It was great fun, and the time flew. What a great way to have a staff Christmas party.

The escape room Norfolk needed! My friends and I did the Magical Miscalculation room and it is by far one of my favorite escape rooms. The room was well decorated and thought out. Our game master was phenomenal and super friendly. I can’t wait to come back to do their Rock n Roll room with husband and my kids.
