We had a great experience here! The tacos and breakfast burritos were a solid 10 outta 10! and the drinks were awesome — super refreshing and well done on the presentation. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a great vibe. We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we’re in town. Highly recommend anytime you come into Reno Nevada!
Reno local here, and I’m writing to share my honest review of this taco joint. It saddens me to say that these tacos are probably the worst I’ve ever had in town. We went to this place with my family, and most of us ordered tacos. When we got them, they were cold. It was okay for us adults, but my little one couldn’t eat them. We tried asking the front staff if they could warm them up or replace them, but they said they couldn’t do anything. It was a bit odd, considering it was their fault to begin with. I’m not a picky eater, but this was the first time I couldn’t eat a taco. I would definitely not recommend the carnitas tacos. The birria taco was decent, and the consomé was actually the best thing they had. The chorizo was a bit too salty for my taste. The tacos were also overpriced. They cost about $6 each, including tax. For a family of five, we spent over $100 on tacos, which I think is overpriced. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place. I’m not here to criticize them, but I’m just sharing my honest experience.
We went to their taco truck at the Dozers & Dirt Event. We ordered the quesabirria tacos & the chicken fries, along with the horchata. Everything was really good!!! The event was busy & the food truck was super busy, but everyone working was still so nice & took the time to answer my questions. Prices were surprisingly reasonable. The food truck had a nice little salsa bar & was very clean. We will definitely try their actual restaurant in the future & you can bet we will always stop when we see their food truck!

Don’t sleep on this place—Daddy’s Tacos NV is officially one of my go-to taco spots!
Absolutely loved the quesabirria tacos! Super flavorful and delicious! I am SO thankful I found this place before returning home from vacation. The cheese seems to be grilled all on its own before being put inside the tortilla. I freaking loved them! I could eat here every day if it wasn't almost 2,000 miles away from home! I'll be back anytime Im in the Reno area!
