Attempting to post another review since my last one has been mysteriously taken down, like many others. I danced here in the past and DO NOT RECOMMEND. There are many other studios in Milwaukee that 1) have basic respect for their students 2) pay their staff. Their entire staff quit in protest of inappropriate behavior. Avoid.

This studio provided a home for many of us dancers at all levels to explore our passion for dance and build a community, a community that many of us cherish to this day. Unfortunately, the studio lacks professionalism and respect for their students. They still owe me a $80 refund from December 2023, which, after several months I gave up on collecting, despite repeated responses that it would get venmo’d shortly. I also prepaid for a year long class membership package for which I was suppose to receive 1 free private lesson. That lesson was cancelled multiple times, often at the last minute. I also purchased a $25 class at the end of this summer. The class I signed up for was cancelled two weeks in a row and then classes were cancelled for the whole month of September. Lastly, because of blatant favoritism not all students were given the same level of instruction as others, which is why I ultimately stepped back from the studio despite the fantastic student community that I grew to love.

I started my dance journey here years ago and stopped attending about a year and a half in due to Josh and Amber’s mistreatment of their instructors. These people spread rumors , steal content and never seem to learn there lesson. There are so many wonderful things about the dance scene in Milwaukee and Josh and Amber are the rock bottom examples. 0/10

I was treated so poorly when I was here. Called out and berated in front of the class multiple times to the point where I left the class in tears. I love dancing, but this place made me feel horrible. It’s very cliquey and if you’re not in their “inner circle” they will treat you like you’re nothing. Super arrogant instructors that think they’re the only ones in Wisconsin that know how to teach salsa and bachata. I don’t recommend this studio to anyone when there are many other wonderful places to dance in the Milwaukee area.

THE FLOOR IS AMAZING. I was able to find parking a block away no problem. oh they have half height lockers there for people to use and you can see them from the dance floor. they have benches to sit on to rest or change your shoes. their audio equipment was flawless, no echoing or screeching and you can hear them very clearly. they had two DJs for their social event, nice equipment and it sounded great. hint: don't wear dark pants or you might not be able to see yourself practicing in the mirror across the room. Edit: Been in classes 11 weeks now, learning SO MUCH. I never thought I'd like it, just tried to see if I could do it, now I am in Salsa and Bachata 8 hours per week at the studio and +1 in Rumba, meeting new friends and having a BLAST. They use an app to pay for classes, and can schedule which classes you want, the events and socials are listed on the app & can get advance tickets at a discount. The instructors are all highly talented AND KNOW HOW TO TEACH with encouragement and humor. There's enough repetition to learn a move, but no time wasted and enough is learned per lesson. I suggest getting the unlimited pass and attending the single and couples classes, one is right after the other and it magnifies your learning exponentially. this is the only place to learn Salsa "On2" in Milwaukee
