Today was my first visit to Dr. Holt’s office after moving to the Knoxville area a few months ago. I chose this office based on other reviews, and this time, the 5 star rating was accurate and meaningful. With that, I also add my 5 star rating. Everyone was professional and helpful, explaining what was happening every step of the way, along with recommendations for future treatments without pressure to make a decision right away. 100% recommend Dr. Holt and his staff.

This dental office is outstanding in so many ways. The setup is clean, modern, and well-organized, which makes the whole experience feel comfortable and professional from the moment you walk in. Dr. Holt is hands down the best—thorough, patient, and truly skilled at what he does. You can tell he cares about his patients and takes pride in his work. My hygienist, Kaitlin, was amazing. She had my teeth feeling brand new by the time I left. She’s extremely knowledgeable, gentle yet thorough, and she explains everything she’s doing in a way that makes you feel informed and comfortable throughout the cleaning. She clearly loves what she does, and it shows in the quality of her care. Unfortunately, the front desk experience did not match the rest of the office. The receptionist that does the checkout (can’t remember her name) comes across as rude and snarky. Her tone is unwelcoming, and she often responds quickly and sharply instead of taking the time to actually listen. It gives off an unpleasant attitude that leaves a bad first impression, which is unfortunate because the rest of the team is phenomenal. If the front desk reflected the same professionalism, warmth, and respect shown by Dr. Holt and Kaitlin, this would easily be a 5-star office. The quality of care is top-notch, but customer service at the front desk really needs improvement to match the standard the rest of the team sets.
