Ryan is fantastic. He designed and installed a new French drain system for our building that was very cost effective and did not require cutting any concrete or sidewalks. The system is still working perfectly a year later. His friendly demeanor and customer oriented approach is hard to find these days and very much appreciated. I would absolutely recommend Ryan and Drain Express!

I came home from a weekend trip to find my basement floor drain backed up. After trying to snake it myself, without success, I figured I’d have to call someone to help me. A quick search resulted in the usual big players I generally try to avoid due to excessive costs and sales-y approach. I decided to call Drain Express late that evening, who markets themselves is a family owned shop. They were very friendly, answering my phone call after 11pm on a Sunday. I made clear that the issue was not an emergency but I would like someone to have someone come out the following day - they were there before 11am. The gentleman who came over was very friendly and very knowledgeable. He did a great job snaking the drain and had it unclogged in literally 5 minutes (probably less). I thought everything was great, until I got the bill that night… $364 dollars for 5 minutes to snake the drain (~$4,368 dollars per hour)… They did not tell me how much it would cost prior to the job being done but I also didn’t ask, which was my mistake (I was thinking $200 max). When I complained about the excessive price, he was nice enough to drop the price to $300, which was still pretty excessive in my opinion. I was told it was the going rate (I don’t know that it isn’t, but find it hard to believe) and that it included travel to my house (not sure what type of fuel their truck takes). Overall, I thought the work performed was fine, but would suggest looking elsewhere for something simple like a clogged drain.

He definitely got my clog out, everything is flowing like a dream now!! 😊. 10 out of 10 would recommend! Probably more like 9 because there’s always that one person but yeah Ryan is a good guy that does great work!

Ryan and his crew at Drain Express are top of the line! They have helped us with a variety of plumbing issues at several local businesses for nearly 15 years. Quick, responsive, effective, hardworking, honest- we have nothing but good things to say about this company. Highly recommend!

Honest. Compassionate. Caring. Skilled. Knowledgeable. Fair. I could go on and on about Ryan and his company. Call Drain Express Inc for any plumbing issue you have. If he can not do it or get to you, he will be glad to advise you on the steps you can take to handle either on your own or what someone else may need to do. Highly recommend!!
