Buying a simple birthday card turned into a spending spree in store thanks to an amazing 20% of the items I was buying. Ben my very helpful store sales manager (if not Store Manager he should be!) was patient and followed up brilliantly on my every enquiry resulting in 3 nice pens, a pen case and a lovely book being brought on top of the card I originally purchased. Well done Dymocks Canberra and Ben! 😊 👏 🙏
Wide variety of books. You can pick up serious history and philosophy books to compliment entertaining young adult novels. I love this place. And the food court is right next door! As if that's not enough, Priceline is also right next door. You can buy books, food and skincare in one go.
We arrived to a group of young girls sitting on the floor outside the front door. Opening at 9am but at 910 I approached the girls to enquire as to the Opening as the store hours was behind them. I was shocked to learn, when they spoke, they were in fact the staff. None of them had enquired as to if we were waiting for the store Opening which was obvious as we were standing waiting looking at the store. The girls said we are locked out waiting for a locksmith. If my staff were sitting on the floor like that i would be very disappointed as they could be letting customers know the situation. Sure way to lose a sale !
Great service, Lovely staff and very helpful to ensure all books were ordered and other books were put on hold until I could get to Canberra City to pick up. This store is easy to find, accessible and many staff serving.
