Best music lessons by far! Our daughter was getting piano lessons and violin lessons from "other" places and she just was not really evolving. Thank you so much to East Valley School of Music for their structure, their professionalism, and paying full attention to teaching our daughter music the right way! I HIGHLY recommend!
Horrible front desk service, abusive and deceptive practices with customer - classes missed and customers harassed (check older reviews - seems like recent lone high rated review might be paid by business), the manager Jamie directly abusing customers. Changed to Gilbert School of Music - heaven vs. he'll difference in teachers, caring and respect towards students and parents, value for money, and ethical practices. EVSM thrives on location but it's not worth it, should have changed sooner and should have read reviews.
East Valley School of Music - Professional building with a large performance hall - Friendly atmosphere - Professional employees who are very helpful I don't post much but because of my very positive experience with the East Valley School of Music, I decided to make an exception. The Manager is an excellent communicator and very on point. The rooms are very sound resistant, especially the drum rooms, and the musical equipment is well maintained. The School hires well-qualified instructors and has good policies that make everything run smoothly. I would recommend this music school to anyone looking!
Incompetent, racist and abusive environment. Do not send your kids here. No amount of musical instruction can compensate for the horrendous behavior of the staff. We witnessed a man on their team publicly berating a parent just for following up on cancelled lessons (the school cancelled - not the mom). He screamed at her and hurled racist slurs! The words that were said made no sense, ignored their own errors and failings as a school, and focused only on bogus assumptions about the mom (who was as polite as can be despite the onslaught of hate). He made it clear it was for no other reason than because her skin was brown and she spoke with an accent (even though her English was absolutely perfect!). He included a comment about her “inability to communicate being the reason for her lack of success in life” (he didn’t realize he was talking to a PhD with a double 6-figure job!). Outrageously unprofessional. The school also said they would refund for lessons that were paid for, but never delivered - then failed to refund. This place should be shut down. A lawsuit waiting to happen. Avoid avoid.
I was incredibly impressed with the Music school, East Valley School of Music, from the modern facilities to the knowledgeable directors, engaged community, diverse classes, and top-notch equipment - everything was perfect for my piano lessons near me. The exceptional instruction and welcoming environment made my experience truly enjoyable, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for music lessons in the area.
