We had a South Asian wedding last August 2025. My husband and I are from Dallas TX so having this in Austin was a “destination wedding”. During our wedding planning we worked with Kelsey for day of coordination and there were lots of red flags observed by my husband and I several months before the wedding. During our initial consultation we explained that this would be a South Indian wedding and expectations would loo different compared to a typical American wedding. Lack of communication was the main issue. Several of my vendors complained as well to me about this to me too. One specific example is that we didn't get a response from her in an email thread with our venue if she was able make it to the final walk through until AFTER contacting Lauren, the owner, and several follow ups. Lauren, however, was amazing and she became my main point of contact. She was responsive and got things done very quickly. I asked several times if I could switch coordinators during the process but that was not able to be done. Fast forwarding to the wedding, several issues came about and I have heard from several family members, vendors, and bridesmaids about the lack of coordination and issues that were going on behind the scenes. Overall I was displeased with my experience.
Kristi and her team, Haley, Jesse, Olivia, and Jenn from Eclipse Event Co. went above and beyond for my wedding day! Everything was detailed to a T They made sure everybody was where they’re supposed to be, vendors included. Everything was checked on. Everything was in its proper place. Everyone was in their proper place. I couldn’t have asked for a better team on my special day. They were also exactly where I needed them to be when I needed them. Jesse was always there to hand me a drink, or to hand me a fan, or an ice cream. And Jen was there to help me up and down the stairs, told me when to walk down the aisle, when to look and where to look, everything. My wedding day went off without a hitch and I have Eclipse Event Co. and the wonderful team. They have there to thank for it.
Stella and her team were incredible to work with. From the very beginning, she was supportive, organized, and reassuring throughout the entire planning process. One piece of advice I will always give future brides is that 30 days simply isn’t enough if you want to feel calm and prepared—I highly recommend starting at least 60 days out. Regardless of timing, Stella’s attention to detail and ability to manage so many moving pieces made a huge difference, especially on the wedding day itself. We felt supported every step of the way and fully trusted that everything was being handled. I would absolutely recommend Stella to any couple looking for a planner who is thoughtful, experienced, and genuinely invested in making your day special.
Hiring Art was the best decision we ever made for our wedding! From the first zoom call, we immediately hit it off. Art was organized, thoughtful, responsive, and always receptive to any little ideas we had for our big day. His sense of humor gelled perfectly with ours, it was match made in heaven! We live in LA, which was a little nerve wracking having an out of state wedding - however, Art was incredibly helpful and let us ship items to him alleviating a lot of travel stress. During our big day he was on time, prepared, and ran the evening like the navy! Everyone in our wedding party & family loved him. I would 100% recommend Art & Eclipse Events to anybody!
