Die Edinburgh Marine Academy in Port Edgar Marina, Queensferry, bietet praxisnahe Motorboot-Ausbildung vom RYA Powerboat Level 2 bis zum Short Range Certificate (SRC) und Fortgeschrittenenkurse. Absolutely loved doing my qualification with EMA this weekend! Instructors are so patient and friendly, we were out on fantastic boats and had a really great time. Such scenic routes around the iconic bridges and saw amazing wildlife too! I feel so much more confident knowing my way around the boat now and can be put to good use! I did my RYA powerboat level 2 in March 2024 with EMA and can highly recommend. The instructor Fergus is extremely knowledgeable and patient with those learning power boating for the first time giving tonnes of individual feedback. The course itself covers a lot in a short amount of time, with most of the two days being on the water.

Excellent tuition, very skilled and knowledgeable. Attended 2 day power boat course. Enjoyable and set at a level to not only train but also allow you to gain confidence in your own abilities, Alex (trainer) was exceptional and very knowledgeable of the Edgar marina and forth estuary. Would highly recommend.

I did my advanced power boat with Edinburgh Marine academy and am in the process of completing my coastal skipper ticket also. I absolutely loved it. Such an amazing setting to do both day and night passages, the boats are all top standard and immaculately kept. The instructors are helpful, knowledgeable and offer an amazing service to anyone wanting to get into seafaring. 10/10, cannot fault them at all.
