These were quesabirrias but they lacked the flavor and constancy of true quesabirrias. The manager came to out table and I explained to him that I had ordered the same plate a few days ago and it was totally different to what we got. Maybe they forgot how to cook them. 😤

I have been eating at this restaurant for years and I've always enjoyed it. I am now writing a review based on an event I just had there. I just hosted my father's retirement party in their back private space. This party went incredibly well. I had plenty of early access to set up and decorate. They made everything including booking the space and the food Very straightforward and simple. We had great service and I was very happy. I look forward to hosting more events here in future.

This place is expensive!!! My food was pretty good, and the waitress comped our dessert for the long wait, which we didn't even care about haha... I had the Mango Tea cocktail and it was okay, I think the liquor doesn't mix well with the tea so it was a lot of straight sipping liquor. I had the enchiladas and sopapillas. The atmosphere is good, and the staff are all incredibly friendly, you can tell they like their job.

El Vaquero Mexican Restaurant in Columbus was a solid spot for Mexican cuisine. While the food itself was fine, the drinks were truly the standout—well-crafted and very enjoyable. The overall vibe of the restaurant was a bit unusual, with the host using a loudspeaker that cut through the ambient music, creating a somewhat hectic atmosphere. The place was packed, and service was a bit disjointed. Our waitress was seldom seen, with food, drinks, and courses delivered by different staff members. However, everything generally arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Despite the quirks, it was an overall decent dining experience.

This was a great experience for the eye and the soul. Our waiter was great. Polite and right on with the service. The meals were definitely great for the soul. We totally enjoyed the whole experience. I am looking forward to returning for the excellent cuisine and great service. I would suggest you bring your family and your best friend here to enjoy the great food and atmosphere.
