I’ve rented with Electric Shores for two summers now and have had a great experiences every time. Reserving a rental is easy and the staff at the dock has always been kind and helpful. It’s so fun to cruise around and see Lake Minnetonka. The boat is so spacious and nice- it’s been great for hosting large or small groups. The cooler is always stocked with ice and we love the option to swim! The zipper windows were a life saver on windier or cooler days, and we enjoy the coverage from the sun. I look forward to renting again next summer!!
Our ride with Electric Shores was delightful—quiet, eco-friendly, and perfect for conversation while cruising the lake. The boat was clean and comfortable, and Jef went above and beyond, from helping carry our cooler to fixing a booking glitch. A fun, relaxing afternoon—I can’t wait to go again!
So much fun, easy peasy, and a wonderful time for our whole family. The boat was perfectly equipped with ice and the ice chest and swimming gear. This watercraft is the perfect way to have an idyllic day on the lake. Jeff was exceptional, in preparing us and receiving us when we returned, along with answering all of our questions before we even asked and making sure we had everything we could have possibly needed. He also gave the best tips for locating turtles. We will absolutely do this again.
A big thank you to Electric Shores for such a fun afternoon!!! It was our first time renting an electric boat, and it was a wonderful experience! First of all, the staff was warm and welcoming. The boat was very clean with beautifully upholstered seats, roof and side windows. Very easy to drive and navigate! It’s a great option to be able to have the side windows up or down and those of us wanting shade options loved the roof. We highly recommend Electric Shores and their Duffy boats! We will definitely be back!!!
We had such a great time touring around Lake Minnetonka with Electric Shores during our first time in Minneapolis! What a perfect way to spend my husband’s birthday! Even our pup had a blast. It was easy to dock the boat and step on and off. It was so comfortable whether it got windy or not, since you have the option to keep it enclosed or open it up. Highly recommend this company. Can’t wait to come back!
