As a second opinion, I went to ER of Dallas, where I was seen by Dr. Kara and her team, and the difference in care was night and day. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with professionalism, urgency, and respect. I was seen promptly, and Dr. Kara took the time to truly listen to my symptoms, explain concerns clearly, and ensure I understood what was happening with my body. I finally felt heard and validated. The entire team worked seamlessly and made what had been a frightening situation feel manageable and safe. I can in because I was feeling bad. I did not have to wait a long time. I checked in and they called me to the back. They started running tests getting right to the issue. I started feeding better within a hour. They even bought me dinner. Dr. Kara is very sweet she will keep you here to make sure you feel much better than when you walked in. I ended up at ER of Dallas on the afternoon of January 4th of this year. I couldn't catch my breath, was sweating profusely, and heart rate was racing between 177 and 180! Dr. Berhane, his nurse on duty, and RT Patrick, got started with me right away. Dr. Berhane did a maneuver that I could have only pictured to happen on a TV show. I blew into a syringe for 15 seconds and then the next thing I knew, I was upside down! Patrick was holding me by both ankles and Dr. Berhane had my upper torso going straight down! In about two seconds, my heart rate returned to normal!! The pain also left and I coupd breathe! After a few hours there was a shift change and RN Deanna came in helping like she had been there since I came in. The crew at ER of Dallas literally saved my life that night and I'm so appreciative of each and every one of them! Had I not gone in that afternoon I wouldn't be posting this review! Dr. Berhane recognized that I had something electrical going on with my heart and made the decision to transfer me to a cardiac hospital for further testing. His knowing his job, connected me with the right cardiologist and crew to help me! If you are ever having an emergency and are near this ER, please go there! They will definitely take care of you or your friends and loved ones!! Thank you to the ER of Dallas!!!
Dr Kara was amazing! Very thorough, wanted labs and X-rays done right away and that really put my mind at ease. She listened and so did the nurses. Amazing location. Very clean and everyone was so nice!
The emergency room is very efficient, always clean, and surprisingly quiet. The staff takes excellent care of their patients. Mohammed gave us great recommendations and made sure I was admitted very quickly. Crystall took wonderful care of me throughout my visit. Overall, a great experience. I truly appreciate the professionalism and kindness of everyone there!
