I hired this firm to value a business, paid a $5,000 retainer, received a bill for over $3,000 with entries that read "work on case" despite that I received not one single document and nothing close to the valuation that I paid for. I fired them and hired another firm who got to work and did the job. Despite REPEATED, WRITTEN, requests, I did not receive the return of the unused portion of my retainer. I received absolutely nothing of any value for my $5,000. And even more egregious is the fact that someone in their office was the family member of the opposing counsel in my case and they knowingly allowed this person to "work on" my case. It was a grave conflict of interest. They basically took my $5,000 and gave me nothing in return but showed my file to opposing counsel's daughter. There should be disciplinary action for this.
