Found my new go to florist. I wanted to get an arrangement for a very special someone in my life, and explained this to the florist as well as colors and types of flowers I would like. Angie listened intently and put so much thought into it that I was stunned at how beautful the bouquet was. The location is super convenient as it is by the lightrail station so that is also a plus, but the talent of the florist is mainly why I will be coming back. She truly cared and it definitely showed in her work. Angie if you're reading this, thank you so much! Also if you're skeptical of going here because of the bad reviews, roll the dice and see for yourself. I was skeptical, but I fully plan on using them for all my floral needs.
I want to support local, but it’s things like this that make it so difficult! I’ve been trying to stop by Exchange Place Florist for some time now. I always check the hours and even during the established operating times the doors remain locked! Today I think I found my reason why… I walked on over and saw there was an “out for delivery” sign. Totally get that! Then a woman in a red shirt returns with some food takeout. Not sure if that’s the kind of delivery the sign implied but whatever. The woman then proceeds to lock the door again immediately after entering. I hover for a bit, maybe she just needs to settle in? Then she comes back to the door and with a hand written “out to lunch” sign. Which I could understand except this isn’t the first time this has happened. Why have operating hours if you’re not going to abide by them? And this is my fourth attempt to shop here! Now I have to resort to big box stores or Amazon. I hope things change soon, because we’d love to have a neighboring floral/plant store.
I called with a specific type request. Angie couldn’t have been more helpful! She listened to what I wanted and delivered beautiful results. Very accommodating & great customer service!
Needed a quick pick me up, stopped into Exchange Florist and said I wanted something bright and the florist sure delivered! These are so stunning and perfect. Such an art to throw together a bouquet that looks amazing and cohesive. Thank you so much!
Update: Saw the response from the owner. It’s not my first time to buy flowers, but it’s the first time I hear the so called “guard petal”. I don’t think “it’s my chose to remove it”, it’s not customers’ responsibility to recognize the so called “guard petal” and “choose to remove it or not”. Also, there aren’t too many petals left if I remove the bad ones. And some of the inner petals are in low quality. Anyway when I buy flowers, I don’t expect a semi-finished product. ——————————————————————— Original: This is the second time I buy from this store. Won’t go there any more. The flower is in super low quality.
